Breakpoint: Earthquakes rattle plates across the globe
March 7, 2011 – We’ve had 2 major quakes strike since we posted our report on tectonic plate tension – a 6.5 at 84 km in the Sandwich Island regions north of Antarctica and a 6.6 earthquake in the Solomon Islands at a depth of 30.8 km. Dense turbulent patterns continue to register across the Antarctica Ice Mass, the most dangerous ice shelf on the planet. We still see seismic agitation under Chile (Nazca), the entire Caribbean plate, Central America (Cocos plate), New Zealand, along the East African Rift and Armenia. Below telemetry seismic data from Antarctica (left) and Barbados (right). The 2nd wave came one hour later and show even stronger readings than the previous one.
2nd Wave: More powerful seismic tremors shaking the planet 1 hour later
