    When you make a post on a thread, you have the option to delete that post, but only while it remains the newest post on that thread.

    If you subsequently decide to edit the post while it is still the newest, you will find that the delete button occupies the same location as the edit button does on any post that is not the newest in the thread.

    Could it be that people, on trying to edit a post they just made to a thread are actually deleting them instead?

    Please test my theory in this thread.

    John..

    Test 2

    {Test 1 was posted previously and deleted, however, you have to confirm a big red box to do it, so I think it would be hard to do by accident - unless you were not concentrating/drunk whatever.}

    It happened to me several times lately that my posts would'nt go through after hitting the send button.
    As I am often working with several windows open on different threads on the forum I am not always realizing
    it immediately.
    Could this happen when two persons hit the send button on a thread at the same time ?

    I dont know, sorry.

    It is possible there is a bug in the software, but if its happening to several people then you'd think this would be a known bug.

    Burgundia mentioned it happened to other members as well John:

    I think none of us concerned reported it until now that icecold encountered what seems to be a similar problem as well.
