It is indeed, Lahanna.Lahanna wrote:Hello all from a very wet and windy Scotland! This feels like a very peaceful place to visit ...
We value eachothers opinions.
This doen't mean at all, that we always agree with eachother and as there is absolute, non-moderated free speech here at MoA, nobody has to hold back on what he wants to point out.
We also value - or should I say 'demand'? - one does his homework first.
If you don't agree with someone, that's perfectly fine, but tell him/her why that is.
Ask whatever you want, but try to make an effort in formulating questions that haven't been asked before.
Also, the Mists is a huge wel of knowledge & there's (well researched) information available on nearly every topic of your interest.
Feel free to ask where to find info, rather than go on a wild goose chase - although that can be fun too.
Lahanna, welcome to the Mists of Avalon.
Make yourself at home & enjoy your stay!

Re: Introduction
Aloha Lahanna and welcome. Och now, to think, my sons are half Scot and one married in Edinburgh which was cold and wet when we were there last. Time to throw a log on the fire and make up a cup of hot tea. That is unless you prefer to ha'v a wee dram instead.
You can think of us as an eddy in cyberville. Tis a grand lot we have here and even better now that you've joined us. Do you know Susan Boyle. She always gives me chicken skin when I listen to this song she sings.
