Carol, as you undoubtedly know, I try to combine past, present, and future with religious and political science-fiction. I honestly try to remain as close as possible to my roots -- but I try to do this in an ecumenical-manner which is not even close to "Peace At Any Price". I have all ten-seasons of Stargate SG-1 on DVD -- and I really must re-watch the entire-series -- after having beat upon the rocks of infidelity for several years since watching them the first time. Science-Fiction involves HUGE quantities of Situation-Ethics. What Would Joseph Fletcher Say?? I once spoke with Joseph Fletcher following a lecture -- and he told me that Christianity was BS (but not necessarily in those exact words). I've tried to deal with that prevalent sentiment by bringing Biblical-Studies into a Science-Fictional Context. My internet activities are both constructive and destructive toward traditional theological understandings (whatever that means). I actually find that Stargate SG-1 fits-in nicely with Biblical-Egyptology. What Would Ralph Ellis Say?? I must finish reading his books -- and re-read the ones I've already read. I seem to have a mental-block regarding Egyptology. I have to approach it in a very passive and round-about way. What if there really are Ancient Egyptian Deities alive and well, and living on Planet Earth?? Consider watching "The Powers That Be" -- "Hathor" -- "Disclosure" -- "The Road Not Taken" -- and "Absolute Power" episodes of Stargate SG-1.
