Gulf Oil Platform Explosion and Spill

Actually, the Gulf Oil Disaster is WAR ON THE PLANET WHICH INCLUDES ALL OF LIFE. THAT IS THE REALITY OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED HERE AND STILL IS HAPPENING. The oil is still leaking and methodologies that are available that could restore the water to pristine condition are not being used, whereas disbursements that create more toxic contamination continue to be used. The whole sea floor region there is ruined and oil leaks continue, tar fields build up on the ocean floor and ocean dead zones widen. Anyone living in the region is at risk due to toxic poisoning. Even more disturbing is the methane build-up underwater due to oceanic die off. Eventually, that stuff has to go somewhere and when it releases - kaboom.

My personal rule of thumb. If an individual is void of compassion, then that individual is spiritually compromise. Beware of the ET human looking clones.

Alarming Evidence of a Leaking Macondo Prospect: The BP Gulf Oil Spill Continues

The following letter has been sent to Congressmen Fred Upton and John Simkus by BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist, (Click here for CV/BIO) in response to our request to inform the US Congress about a situation of which that they appear to be unaware. The growing need for a real US Congressional Inquiry into the matter of the Macondo Prospect in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) – the site of the BP Oil Spill which began on April 20, 2010 – has been apparent for many months now.

This letter represents a turning point for the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference in that this International Citizens’ Initiative has decided that overwhelming evidence exists that points to a situation that has not been properly addressed. Therefore, the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico sits in a state of abeyance of sorts. Until the residents who domicile there, and citizens who work there, are transparently apprised of the true state of the blown out well and surrounding area, this conference will not rest.

Dr. Thomas B. Manton passed away on Wednesday, January 19th, after suffering an assault at Liberty Correctional Facility in Bristol, Florida. He was serving an unlawful 15-year prison sentence, after being wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit. Given Tom’s advanced age, serious medical conditions and health problems, and complete lack of criminal history, he should not have been placed into the general prison population. The Florida Department of Corrections further failed Tom Manton when they exposed him to the dangers associated with violent criminals who prey on other inmates just like Tom.

Tom was the former President/CEO of the International Oil Spill Control Corporation which was one of the very first oil spill control companies in the world formed outside of the rubric of the Oil & Gas Industry. In this capacity he helped create many of the protocols and establish many of the standards that are still in use today throughout the realm of oil spill control. He became an increasingly vocal critic of the BP response to the Gulf Oil Spill, and wrote five searing articles in that regard. He was particularly distressed that the US Federal Government allowed BP to completely take charge of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster area, as his experience taught him that the offending oil company should never be given command over the oil spill response.

n 2010, Corexit EC9500A and Corexit EC9527A are being used in large quantities in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.[6][7] TheEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) had pre-approved both forms of Corexit for uses in emergencies such as the Gulf oil spill.[8]Corexit 9580 was used during the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill disaster in Alaska. On May 19, 2010 the EPA gave BP 24 hours to choose less toxic alternatives to Corexit, selected from the list of EPA-approved dispersants on the National Contingency Plan Product Schedule,[9] and begin applying them within 72 hours of EPA approval of their choices; or, if BP could not find an alternative, to provide a report on the alternative dispersants investigated and reasons for their rejection.[10] BP took the latter option, citing safety and availability concerns with alternatives.[11] Sea Brat 4, the only effective alternative that is available in quantities large enough for the spill and is less toxic, was rejected by BP because of the risk that components would break down into nonylphenol, which persists in the environment and is toxic to marine life.[12] BP had used Corexit EC9500A and Corexit EC9527A by late May, applying 800,000 US gallons (3,000,000 l) total,[13] but more accurate estimates run as high as 1,000,000 US gallons (3,800,000 l) underwater.[14] By late April 2010, Nalco, the maker of Corexit, says that it has been deploying only Corexit 9500.[15]

The ingredients are abundantly available while both the recipe and the brewing process are not as secret as everyone had thought.

THE GULF BLUE PLATE (BP) SPECIAL

Fill a large bowl with saline ocean water, add a generous proportion of thick crude oil, then pour in a cup of liquid Correct-it (available from Nalco under the brand name Corexit) making sure you don’t spill any on yourself, stir gently, and then let it sit for a day or two. As the newly thinned oil mixture begins to sink to the bottom of the bowl, make sure the resulting gasses are allowed to ever-so-slightly bubble in orange foam on the surface. This will let you know you’re ready for the next and most important step.

Quickly add Syn-Bio (available from JCVI, SGI, and other private companies) along with a colloidal mixture containing iron, copper, and other natural elements to begin the interactive brewing process. Let it sit for no less than 6-9 months making sure nothing is allowed to disturb it. When there is no more gas coming to the surface and the mixture on the bottom turns into a gelatinous black goo, the first stage of the recipe is finished.

The amazing thing about this new state-of-the-art recipe is what it becomes after the initial first stage brewing process is finished. No-one knows! It’s no wonder some have begun to refer to it as The Blue Plate (BP) Special. You can be assured that once the second stage of this concoction begins to release its mutated biological ingredients, as it appears to have done so already, the rest of the world will abruptly notice.

Dr. Thomas B. Manton, who recently died while serving an unlawful sentence in the Florida State Prison System, prepared A Presentation to President Barack Obama on the BP Gulf Oil Spill. This informal presentation was prepared and submitted by Tom in the days just prior to the start of his 15 year incarceration.

It is important to note that some of Tom’s first challenges in the oil spill control arena began in the Middle East. During the late 1970′s and early 80′s, Saudi Arabia was being particularly vexed by the oil spills contaminating their multi-million dollar desalinization plants along their coasts. The huge, expensive, filtration membranes were constantly being ruined by the spilt oil, as other parts of the desalinization process were also compromised.

Voices From The Shattered Gulf: 3-hr Rense Radio Special Feb. 1st

When oil and gas mixtures are ejected from a deep wellhead, liquid oil droplets of many different sizes form and rise toward the ocean surface. Because the smaller droplets become as dense as the surrounding water deep below the surface--in this case at about 1,100 meters—they are swept away laterally by prevailing ocean currents (left panel). When a dispersant is added at the depth of the wellhead, a component called a surfactant breaks up the oil into small droplets (middle panel). If the dispersant works perfectly, virtually all the liquid oil is in these “neutrally buoyant” droplets and is carried away before ever reaching the surface and the droplets become small enough to be consumed, or “biodegraded,” by bacteria. In the Deepwater Horizon spill (right panel), scientists found evidence that the dispersant mixed with the small droplets in the deep-water hydrocarbon plume but also discovered the oil/dispersant mix had not yet biodegraded several months after the spill. The study could not distinguish between oil droplets coated with surfactant (which would suggest the dispersant worked as planned) and surfactant floating freely on its own (suggesting the substance did not attach to the oil, as intended).

Alabama’s new AG pursuing BP suit as lead attorney

Alabama’s new attorney general says he will be lead counsel in the state’s lawsuit against BP and others over the Gulf oil spill and that he hopes his presence at a federal court hearing shows the judge how important the case is to residents harmed by the disaster.

Luther Strange said Wednesday that he’ll take the lead since the state is no longer using private law firms for the case.

Alabama has been harmed more than any other Gulf state hit by the spill mostly because its tourism revenue is based on attracting visitors to its pristine white sand beaches, he said. Strange estimated that the state lost $148 million in tax revenues because of the spill and that businesses lost as much as $824 million in earnings.

The hundreds of lawsuits that have been filed against BP and other companies over damages have been consolidated before U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier in New Orleans. Barbier is holding a status conference in his courtroom at 9:30 a.m. Friday to discuss how to proceed with efforts to settle some of the cases and bring others to trial.

“I want to make sure the judge understands this is a top priority for Alabama,” Strange said about being there.

Strange said he is working with new Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley to pursue both the lawsuit and claims against BP. Former Gov. Bob Riley and former Attorney General Troy King were often at odds over how to proceed to recover losses. King filed a lawsuit, while Riley initially wanted to pursue the claims process.

Deputy Attorney General Corey Maze will be in court with Strange. He said attorneys are still trying to determine how much money the state lost that would include cleanup and lost tax revenue.

Asked if he thought the state’s claims against BP would eventually go to court, Maze said, “I question whether BP wants to face an Alabama jury knowing what they’ve done to Alabama.”

Former Alabama Lt. Gov. Jere Beasley said his Montgomery law firm had been working on the legal action against BP for the state, but stepped aside when Strange took office earlier this month.

But Beasley said his firm still represents numerous clients with claims and lawsuits against BP. One of his firm’s attorneys, Ron Jones, has been appointed by Judge Barbier to a committee that his helping the judge manage the massive case.

Did you ever wonder how they came up with the name COREXIT? We did … and it was recently brought to our attention that COREXIT is most probably based on the meme*, “Corrects It!”

We are sure that BP, Halliburton, Transocean, Anadarko, US Coast Guard, EPA, et al. had very high hopes that COREXIT would correct it in the minds of the broad public by making them think that the oil is gone. And, that for those who rely on the mainstream media for their information concerning the status of the BP Gulf oil spill, they probably believe that COREXIT has corrected it, all right.

We might also surmise that BP et al. never anticipated that COREXIT would only correct it for a limited period of time before people would start to catch on. That limited period of time has now expired.

We have received oil spill remediation proposals, implementation plans, and mitigation propositions from all over the world. After working with CBS 60 Minutes in the wake of their Special Program entitled Blowout: The Deepwater Horizon Disaster, we interviewed numerous whistleblowers and insiders throughout the Oil & Gas Industry, as well as from various contractors and consultants who, by virtue of their specialties, possessed intimate knowledge of offshore drilling operations. We were also privileged to speak with many retired, fired and disillusioned personnel from the assorted US Government Agencies and Departments which were involved, either directly or indirectly, with “setting up” the greatest manmade disaster in US history.
