    Fort Lauderdale Beach A1A restoration with steel pilings after Hurricane Sandy
    March 2013. This is pretty amazing. Watch how the crane pile drives the 44 foot steel beams into the sand. They are all connected together to protect the road from washing away. That's what they have to go through for not bulldozing the displaced sand back after Hurricane Sandy in Oct 2012.

    Mar 7, 2013 - Beach erosion in Duck NC. 2 hours before high tide this afternoon. Oceanfront pools in north duck are still being built with the ocean creeping closer and closer.
