Susan, I'd like to learn how to do that too.

Yesterday I purchased a used book (IPad2 for dummies) for $5. It would probably be a good idea to get something like that for the laptop too.

if your pc drive on windoof: download "paint" for free, there in the toolbox is a letter to add text to your pics.
It can colourate the letters, has different animated text-ures and so on.

is it supposed to download a different tool bar - and, a bunch of games ?

It's that sort of simple computer tech confusion that has me ripping my hair out Susan. I need to go back to school to do something like this.

now, i got some program in my computer
trying to take me to a different browser-and, a big huge program full of games
something, trying to get me to upgrade to avg 2013 - for free - yeah free for 30 days - then $40
ahh--now, how to i take it out
that didn't give me the program i was looking for :(

first i thought you genius might know how to unclick from installing surplusbrowser & games!!!

As this is allready 20 years standart for windows user (sorry i drive linnux and use gimp for pics retush),
i had no chance to pretest the downloadlinks...

Anyhow you could find help in google to remoove the spam software, but windows can do it:
through the add or remove programs in the control panel.The Currently installed programs list in the Add or Remove Programs tool lists all of the Windows-compatible programs that have an uninstall program or feature. So open control panel, go on software button,wait for the programms to be listed,
then remove gamepacket, browseraddon!

Than take a pic of your choice, open paint, open this pic in the topright collumn,...
then check the toolbox, there should be a button with an "A", the usual text tool...
Check this one by click/l and than there should be a cross on the curser to mark a field on the pic
where you want the text to appear,make the box on thepic, type some words to test, it can be mooved till you export or save the pic ( decide forthe quality and the jpg or png or tiff kind you want)
later see in the toolbox for change of color, texture or wordart

never learned the computer
and, never played the games
-a total misfit in this world

I'm wondering if the two of you can skype as this would likely be more effective in helping Susan and someone like myself who is computer tech deficient.

Download the program Picasa for free here susan :

Then click safe download et follow the steps .

When download finished open Picasa and you'll see it isn't difficult to use.

This will allow you to lable your photos very easily.
