While expensive cancer drugs linked to premature death and mega-tumors are pushed by many mainstream doctors as the only option outside of chemotherapy, a growing number of informed individuals are consistently opting to instead utilize natural methods that are known to conquer cancer cells and effectively negate the disease — without harsh side effects.
“In India, whenever they use turmeric they usually have pepper in the meal,” said Dr. Santos. “Piperine is a pepper. It helps the turmeric get absorbed so that it goes into your bloodstream versus staying in your gut.”

Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it's fun to find new ways to use it in recipes. My favorite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg salad. It adds a nice flavor and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.
Contraindications: Turmeric should not be used by people with gallstones or bile obstruction. Though turmeric is often used by pregnant women, it is important to consult with a doctor before doing so as turmeric can be a uterine stimulant.

Turmeric Tea Recipe
Yogi Bhajan, founder of the Yogi Tea brand, recommends this hot turmeric and almond oil tea (also called "Golden Milk" tea) for joint and bone health. Putting oil in tea may seem strange at first, but I promise the result is heavenly, and quite soothing. Just be sure to use almond oil and not a substitute in this turmeric tea recipe! Try adding a bit of cinnamon too, if you like.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp turmeric
1/4 cup water
1 cup milk, soy milk or almond milk
1 tsp almond oil
honey, to taste
Preparation:
Stir together the turmeric and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook, stirring, until a thick paste is formed.
Use 1/2 to 1 tsp of this turmeric paste for each cup of Golden Milk tea. Add turmeric paste, milk, almond oil and honey to saucepan and reduce heat to low. Bring milk just to a boil then remove from heat. Whisk briskly or blend if you prefer a frothier drink.
