Wow Carol, there are a number of posts from your science inquisitivity, which I did not see and this is one of them.

This is a most pertinent subject at the present time, this changing of the magnetic field of the earth and as you might have suspected the dragons have some answers about this not known in any mainstream media or outlet.

So I shall prepare a more detailed response to this for the 'Eyes in the Mists'; but state here in general what is going on.

You see, your post above is getting to the 'core of the matter' and the pun is the core of the earth.

Just consider the evolution of a star. It begins in a specific ratio of Hydrogen and Helium as a nucleosynthetic percentage of the background universe, say 24% Helium and 75% Hydrogen and 1% all the other elements of the nucleosynthesis. The hydrogen 'burns' or fuses into Helium and the Helium into heavier elements to eventually reach a enthalpic maximum in Iron, when no more energy can be generated by endothermic processes.
So the Sun (70% H, 28%He), has a differentiation between its Core and its mantle in so called energy gradients.
Those energy gradients then affect the rotation rates, with the core rotating at a different speed than the outer regions of the sun.

Those energy gradients are like low pressure and high pressure weather systems, leading to the vortex physics of the atmosphere and the ocean currents and so on. A major effect on the sun is of course the magnetic field of the solar surface receiving its energy flows from the solar core and transmitting this via the magnetic fields into the corona, where the temperatures of the surface of so 6000 Kelvin are multiplied into the millions of Kelvin in factors of 500-1000 and which btw are the same factors, which define the cores of galaxies in their Black Hole masses relative to their coronas or haloes. So for example, an elliptical galaxy has a massive core so 1/5th to 1/10th of a percent of the total mass of the galaxy.

Ok now the earth also has a core-mantle differentiation and the activity of the energy gradients between the earth's core and its mantle differentiations can be said to also relate to a dimensional intersection between 3D and 4D.
This is also well established geophysics, as the nature of the 4D space is well understood to allow hyperspace to interpenetrate 3D 'normal' space as the ordinary Schwarzschild metric.

So the New Age ideas of a 'Hollow Earth', the 'Poleshifts' and the 'Strange Sounds' and also the notions of an 'Electric Universe' and the paradox of how the flora and fauna of the Mesozoic aka the 'Age of the Dinosaurs' from so 250 - 65 million years ago could grow to such huge proportions under the gravity of the earth of 9.8 m/s² and so on; all are related to the core-mantle differentiation of the earth and rather similar to the well understood fusion physics of stars.

The earth has a magnetic field, varying with the location on the surface of the earth and so relates to 'local magnetic effects' as well.

Your post then shows clear scientific evidence that something is occurring at the core of the earth.
Now this cannot be a nuclear hot fusion of course, because the temperature for this nucleosynthesis is required to be so 10 million Kelvin (1keV) and being 14 million Kelvin at the Suns's core. These are well established facts of the astrophysics, of stellar evolution and the solar physics.

The difference between a star and a planet in a basic comparison is however the plasmic nature of a star, resulting in the ionisation of the phases of matter from solid to liquid to gas to plasma.
The earth is nonplasmic and a detailed analysis of the formulations of the parameters, which create the magnetic fields for the stars and the planets then takes this into account.

I will elaborate on the formalism later, but state the result and implication here.

To change the magnetic Field of a planet in the nonplasma formulation; one either increases the rotation rate or one shrinks the core for an increase of the magnetic flux density (measured in Tesla or gauss) and one slows the rotation rate or increases the core relative to the mantle for a decrease of the magnetic flux density.

So what is happenstance in the grand metamorphosis opf the planet into a starplanet, is that the Core of the earth becomes a MAGNETIC OSCILLATOR, fluctuating like a heart beat from a certain constancy into 'murmurs of the core'.

For example the dilemma with the dinosaurs (an extensive debate on this is here: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/sauropods.html), often leading to 'quasi-scientific' speculations about a 'smaller earth for a lower gravity' 100 million years ago, is solved in allowing the Mesozoic Era to experience just such a 'Murmur' of the terrestrial core; which would have allowed more massive fauna and flora to evolve in this period and as effect and consequence of either the earth spinning faster OR the core-mantle energy gradient to have been associated with a smaller size of the 3D-4D interface between the core and the mantle.

The spinrates are less likely to manifest on the macroscale though, being applicable to the gravitoelectric effects (London effect) recently posted here in a more detailed message. So the Age of the Dinosaurs did not require a smaller earth in mass (which would terrorize the celestial mechanics of the solar system), but simply required a energy ransformation BETWEEN the Outer Earth and the Inner Earth. New Age notions of 'Agartha of the Lunar Yellow Dragon Caps' and the 'Shamballah of the Solar Red Caps' and so on crystallise from this metaphysics and give SOME validity to the New Age speculations - but in a twilight zone of the aforesaid 3D-4D intersection.

To clarify; what appears to be an increase in weight and the Mass of an ecosystem with large ferns and huge sauropods, pterosaurs, plesiosaurs and insects within an environment of a much stronger magnetic field, compared to the present time becomes not an increase in the weight (F=mg=massxgravitational acceleration) per se, but manifests as a 'quasimass' related to the notion of 'what mass is' in the first place. This shall be explained in the continuity of this message.
But the 'shrinking core' of the earth in the Mesozoic ALLOWS the magnetic field of the earth to be much stronger, relative to now and this 'natural planetary magnetism' then substitutes for the 'weight' as an energy gradient on a planetary scale and something which is being rediscovered in the notions of the gravitomagnetism in the research centres studying those fields of interest.

For a tangential velocity v the angular velocity ω=2πf=vr.

The finestructure unification between the electromagnetic alpha=2πk.e²/hc and the gravitational alpha 2πG_om_c²/hc then modifies this law as B=Mω/2Rc² by the monopolic string mass-current M=30ec for a magnetocharge e*=2e as a Cooper-Charge for the superconductive Cosmic String, manifesting as e=½e*=½(M/30c).


For the Earth then:
The earth's magnetic field approximates as 3x10^-5 Tesla (0.3 gauss) for a core-mantle differential rotation.
M_core=ρ_core.V_core~9x10²² kg and R_core~1.2x10⁶ m and ω=2π/86,400.

Here M becomes the unitised mass of the rotating system of angular velocity ω and a displacement radius R.
Increasing the Mass of the Earth is unnecessary should the scale radius R_core be allowed to oscillate and at the present time resulting in a diminishing overall magnetic gaussian flux due to the size of the core increasing in volume compared to its encompassing magma mantle.


In certain gravitoelectric effects (see Gravitoelectric Effects), the rotation rate is said to be so 6500 cycles per minute and so w=2πf~680 radians per second.

The magnetic flux then is a function approximated by B~[3.8x10^-15](M/R).
So B increases for a given radius with the gravitomagnetic mass in a selfinduction.
Generally, a rotating cosmic body of mass M and spinrate ω selfinduces a gravitomagnetic field in analogy to the laws of Maxwell, Faraday and Lenz in a form of B=Mω/2Rc².

For a typically evolved galaxy such as the Milky Way, the masses are of the order of 2x10⁴² kg, inclusive the dark matter as gravitationally acting component. A typical radius is of the order of 50,000 lightyears or so 5x10²⁰ metres and a galactic rotation rate can be approximated in so 250 Million years, being the rotation period of 'our' solar system about the galactic core.

This then gives the INTRINSIC magnetic field for a nonionised charge distribution and for the Milky Way:

So what are the 'seedling' magnetic fields, proposed in that latter article to have derived from Cosmic Strings at even smaller magnitudes?

It is simple, when we realise that this seedling must be the entire universe itself.
The Hubble-Frequency is so 1.9x10^-18 s and the Hubble-Radius is so 2x10²⁶ metres and the mass-seedling is 2x10⁵¹ kg baryonic and 6.5x10⁵² kg for the asymptotic closure in Euclidean flatness of zero curvature.

This gives a cosmic magnetic field of B=9x10^-10 Tesla and B=3x10^-8 Tesla and just the measured galactic typical 'upper bounds' for the universe's mass say.

The universe so displays magnetism on account of its Hubble-parameters, which are magnified string parameters.
And the absolute minimum frequency for the wormhole is 3.33x10^-31 seconds and applying this as a Zero-Point for the cosmogenesis; the 'seedling' magnetic field would become so B=1.4x10^-22 Tesla and B=4.7x10^-21 Tesla for our total mass distributions.

The Cosmic Strings are always associated with Black Holes as Vortex 'seeds' and depict the monopolic mass-current from the upper bounded monopole mass of 2.7x10¹⁶ GeV, which is the string unification scale as first Planck-Nugget transformation.
