Well, Mu, you told us to listen, so I did. I liked the analogy of Jack and the Beanstalk. I always wanted to produce that story (I'm a director of young actors). I also want to produce Rumpelstiltskin. These stories are around for very good reason. I recently produced and directed Robin Hood and the Wizard of Oz. I suppose we all have our ways of teaching...people listen to stories more readily than to lecturing, lol.

Thanx for all the info, Mudra. You're doing a great job!

Shame on you Bill & Mods, for the destruction of PA1. 'Who needs friends, with enemies like that!' the PTB must have thought.)

Re: Gulf Oil Platform Explosion and Spill
TILT: The illness afflicting workers exposed to BP's oil disaster?
Workers cleaning up the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico have reported suffering from flu-like symptoms that may be the consequence of exposure to chemicals in the oil as well as the petroleum-derived solvent being used to disperse the spill.
The illness - marked by headaches, fatigue, upset stomach, and problems with memory and concentration - has been dubbed toxicant-induced loss of tolerance, or TILT. People suffering from TILT lose the ability to tolerate exposures to household chemical products, medication or even food, Dr. Claudia Miller of the University of Texas Health Science Center told WOAI TV: "Things like diesel fuel, exposure to fragrances, cleaning agents that never bothered them before suddenly bother them," adds Dr. Miller.Miller first described TILT in 1996, but it remains a controversial diagnosis among the medical community. The syndrome is also known as multiple chemical sensitivity and idiopathic environmental intolerance. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, a division of the National Institutes of Health, has defined the illness as a "chronic, recurring disease caused by a person's inability to tolerate an environmental chemical or class of foreign chemicals."
Regardless of whether the illness being reported in Gulf cleanup workers and residents ends up being confirmed as TILT, the fact remains that the chemicals people are being exposed to in the oil and dispersants are known to have health impacts including eye, skin and respiratory irritation, as well as headaches, dizziness, weakness, nausea and confusion. An analysis of EPA air testing data has found levels of these chemicals in coastal communities exceeding safety standards.
As of this week, the Louisiana Department of Health has documented 109 reports of illnesses among residents exposed to the spill, with 74 of those complaints coming from cleanup workers, according to ProPublica. In Alabama, another 19 cases of illness have been reported among people exposed to chemicals in the spill.
As Facing South reported, the Louisiana Environmental Action Network has been distributing safety equipment including respirators to cleanup workers -- but some workers have been threatened with firing if they wear them, apparently because of BP's liability worries.
In the U.S. Coast Guard photos accompanying this story, oil spill cleanup workers along Louisiana's coast can be seen performing their duties without respiratory protection. Concerns have also been raised about inadequate safety training being provided to workers.
Monique Harden, co-director of Advocates for Environmental Human Rights in New Orleans, blasted the lack of worker protections during an interview yesterday with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann. "What's happened in this situation is BP with the approval of our government has placed expediency over health protection," she said.

So oil rain is not possible. What about Corexit rain?
mudra wrote:OIL SPILL: Could oil spill bring black rain?
Preston Rudie
http://www.wtsp.com/news/mostpop/story.aspx?storyid=131321&provider=top
Ruskin, Florida -- With rain in the forecast and an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, 10 Connects has been getting e-mails and calls from viewers wondering if we could soon see black rain.
National Weather Service Science and Operations Officer Charlie Paxton says while it's always possible a water spout could pick up some oil and carry it a short distance, the notion of black rain is just not possible. Paxton says that's because oil does not evaporate. As a result, talk of black rain is just a myth.
However, Paxton does note that rain can, on occasion, mix with other particles. For example, he says in desert climates, when it's windy and it rains, it's not uncommon for precipitation to mix with sand to form what he calls "a muddy mess."
I made some research to see if black rain ever occurred on Earth and found no trace of this event ever taking place .

just wanted to point out it was not me that said those words , though I have to admit they made me chuckle, thanks NWO, I DO know how you feel, I'm just not THAT angry.... close....
I am reposting the video I posted before. Right fronm the start this has not felt right. It has all the earmarkings of another false flag event . Why the loop on the BOP? Is it really an oil rain? Very few helpers really cleaning it all up ? No analysis of the oil ?Presidential non reaction? No fly zone? Why so much secrecy? !!! Two clean up workers dead under suspicious circumstances; one a bullet to the head, the other a drowning in a swimming pool, what did they find out?
What if the tankers are there releasing oil on the beaches?
My concern really revved up at the mention of corEXIT, I think THIS is what it's really all about folks, my god they were hell bent on using this product, even seemed to have it ready, plus CIA Evergreen ( !!?!) airways spraying it... that's prime real estate there folks much of it occupied by useless shrimp eaters... also want to get rid of the golden oldies on healthcare in Fla. It's just SICK!
Let's really hope the dots can be joined up a lot faster on this psy op than 911. Its a real stinker.

BP Is Burning Sea Turtles
Alive, Gulf Captain Says
Published June 23, 2010

A loggerhead sea turtle swims at the Georgia Aquarium
in Atlanta. The federal government recently recommended that it be
listed as an endangered species.
A boat captain working to rescue sea
turtles in the Gulf of Mexico said he saw BP ships burning sea turtles and other
wildlife alive, myFOXtampabay.com reported late Tuesday.
Captain Mike Ellis said in an interview
posted on You Tube that the boats were conducting controlled burns to
get rid of the oil.
"They drag a boom between two shrimp boats,
and whatever gets caught between the two boats, they circle it up and
catch it on fire. Once the turtles are in there, they can’t get out,"
Ellis said.
Ellis said he had to cut short his
three-week trip rescuing the turtles because BP quit allowing him access
to rescue turtles before the burns.
"They're pretty much keeping us from doing
what we need to do out there," Ellis said.
Other reports corroborate Captain Ellis'
claims. A report in the Los Angeles Times described "burn fields" of 500
square miles in which 16 controlled burns will take place in one day.
"When the weather is calm and the sea is
placid, ships trailing fireproof booms corral the black oil, the coated
seaweed and whatever may be caught in it, and torch it ... " the report
said.
Ellis said most of the turtles he saw were
Kemps Ridley turtles, a critically endangered species. Harming or
killing one would bring stiff civil and criminal penalties and fines of
up to $50,000 against BP.

Ship Captain’s Death Likely a Suicide
By: Michael Whitney Wednesday June 23, 2010
The ship captain found dead of a gunshot wound on his boat in Alabama this morning likely committed suicide. The LA Times has more on William Allen Kruse’s tragic death:
“He had been quite despondent about the oil crisis,” said Stan Vinson, coroner for Baldwin County, which includes Gulf Shores.
Kruse, who lived with his family in nearby Foley, Ala., reported to work Wednesday morning as usual at the Gulf Shores Marina on Fort Morgan Road in Gulf Shores, Vinson said. He met up with his two deckhands at his boat, The Rookie. One of the deckhands later told Vinson that Kruse seemed his usual self, sending them to fetch ice while he pulled the boat around to the gas pumps.
As the deckhands walked off to get ice, they heard what sounded like a firecracker, Vinson said. They turned around but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. So they proceeded to gather the ice and wait for Kruse at the pumps. ”He never showed,” Vinson said.
Just terrible, and unfortunately, it’s likely just the first we’ll see from BP’s oil disaster.

Two Workers Dead in BP Oil Disaster Recovery Effort
By: Michael Whitney Wednesday June 23, 2010
MSNBC reported this hour that two workers involved in the recovery effort of the BP oil disaster have died. Details are sketchy at this time; the network said that two were dead; one was a cleanup worker, one was a ship captain.
A report on MSNBC’s website gives more detail, including the possibility that the ship captain died of a gunshot wound:
Oil was again gushing uncontrollably from the BP spill site on Wednesday after the company was forced to remove the containment cap when a robotic submarine hit a vent. The news came as officials also reported two deaths of people who had been hired for the response effort.[...]
The deaths reported Wednesday were not tied to the containment operation. The Coast Guard said the workers had been involved in cleanup operations did [sic] that their deaths did not appear to be work related.
One death was a boat captain who died of a gunshot wound, a Coast Guard spokesman said. Further details were not immediately available.

Alabama fishermen used a half-dozen boats to prevent access to the Mississippi Sound in an early morning blockade to protest BP’s unfair hiring practices yesterday. The fishermen, who’ve been idled by the massive ban on fishing in the oiled waters of the Gulf of Mexico, say BP is hiring far more recreational boaters than commercial fishermen in its cleanup efforts. The Press-Register reports:
A handmade sign that read “Commercial 1st We need work now” hung from one of the vessels idling in the waterway. A smaller gray boat was spray-painted with bright orange letters “44 days still pumping BP lied.”
At least two boats were blocked from passing through the mouth of the Bayou before police and other authorities asked the men to end the blockade or face arrest.
At issue, according to those there, is that recreational boat owners are being hired before those who make their livelihoods solely from fishing local waters.
When asked about the protest, BP officials emailed this statement: “We are adjusting the vessels of opportunity program to give priority to commercial vessels and fisherman. We are working diligently to resolve any issues VOO operators may have.”
The owner of the boat with the orange message, Brent Buchanan, was taken from the docks in handcuffs by local police about an hour after the protest began at 5 a.m. His two sons watched from a small pier a few feet away.
BP seems to admit that it failed to give priority to commercial fishermen with its statement that the company is “adjusting” how it hires boats for its cleanup operation. That’s nice, but in addition to “adjusting” how it hires, BP might also want to actually use those whom it does hire.
Several fishermen at the protest said that while they had been hired by BP, they never actually did any work. “Wait by the phone” were the instructions given to at least two fishermen whose phones never rang.
Ray Foster, 62, who owns the trawler Miss Joyce, docked his wooden-hulled boat across from the others in a show of solidarity Wednesday morning. “I ain’t against nobody making money,” Foster said, “but I think BP ought to put all our commercial fishermen’s boats to work.”
Foster, of Heron Bay, who was hired by BP through its vessels of opportunity program, said he and his crew were on standby for 14 days and submitted an invoice for payment. That was more than a week ago. “They told me to stand by the phone,” Foster said. As of Wednesday morning, more than nine days later, he hadn’t been called back to work or paid for his service. “I need to go to work.”
Several other fishermen at the docks Wednesday, including Philip Seaman and Michael Sprinkle, of Irvington, said they are still waiting on checks from BP for two weeks of work.
“They hired me for 14 days,” Sprinkle said. “They’ve got boats that have been working for 30 days.” [...]
Sprinkle said he has spent hours calling BP phone numbers to find out when he’ll get paid or get work again: “They said be patient and wait by the phone.”
Not only are fishermen in the Gulf region desperate for work after BP’s oil disaster ruined their waters, and not only is BP apparently giving preference to recreational boats over professional fishermen, but the company is neither using nor paying those it did hire.
I heard similar stories about idled boats while in Louisiana. While several fishermen and boat owners did go out on the waters in oil containment efforts, a good number were idled without any direction from BP. The Administration claimed yesterday that “more than 1,900 vessels are responding on site” in the cleanup. Are all of those active? Or do they include the idled fishermen who organized the blockade?

The idle boats are just another BP shield against liability.
Commercial fishermen are good at estimating gallons of liquid. They are also good at spotting dead critters in the water. They are used to working in the sea and can tell when something is wrong regardless of if it is on the surface or not.
Recreational fishermen? Not so much.
BP requires anyone working for them to sign an agreement not to talk to the press, not to pick up any dead animals, not to report any dead animals, etc etc etc.
Just another way to dodge the financial penalties for every single barrel of oil that is spilled.
Same thing for the usual people who volunteer at wildlife sanctuaries and the like. The organizations were told that the only people who can “clean” wildlife have to be employees of BP. No volunteers allowed.
Same deal – confidentiality agreements.
Respirators? Yep – same deal. Even though the MSDS for Corexit recommends hazmat suits with gloves AND respirators, BP is trying to pretend that the mess they have created is not toxic. That’s why they refuse to issue respirators – an admission of the toxicity. It’s also why they won’t let people wear their own – another tacit admission of the toxicity.
Every single thing BP does is about two things – trying to “save” the well for future use, and preventing anyone from documenting anything that might cost them money in penalties, royalties, and lawsuits.
So anything they do – just look at it in that context.

Methane in Gulf "astonishingly high": U.S. scientist Julie Steenhuysen
CHICAGO
Tue Jun 22, 2010

(Reuters) - As much as 1 million times the normal level of methane gas has been found in some regions near the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, enough to potentially deplete oxygen and create a dead zone, U.S. scientists said on Tuesday.
Texas A&M University oceanography professor John Kessler, just back from a 10-day research expedition near the BP Plc oil spill in the gulf, says methane gas levels in some areas are "astonishingly high."
Kessler's crew took measurements of both surface and deep water within a 5-mile (8 kilometer) radius of BP's broken wellhead.
"There is an incredible amount of methane in there," Kessler told reporters in a telephone briefing.
In some areas, the crew of 12 scientists found concentrations that were 100,000 times higher than normal.
"We saw them approach a million times above background concentrations" in some areas, Kessler said.
The scientists were looking for signs that the methane gas had depleted levels of oxygen dissolved in the water needed to sustain marine life.
"At some locations, we saw depletions of up to 30 percent of oxygen based on its natural concentration in the waters. At other places, we saw no depletion of oxygen in the waters. We need to determine why that is," he told the briefing.
Methane occurs naturally in sea water, but high concentrations can encourage the growth of microbes that gobble up oxygen needed by marine life.
Kessler said oxygen depletions have not reached a critical level yet, but the oil is still spilling into the Gulf, now at a rate of as much as 60,000 barrels a day, according to U.S. government estimates.
"What is it going to look like two months down the road, six months down the road, two years down the road?" he asked.
Methane, a natural gas, dissolves in seawater and some scientists think measuring methane could give a more accurate picture of the extent of the oil spill.
Kessler said his team has taken those measurements, and is hoping to have an estimate soon.
"Give us about a week and we should have some preliminary numbers on that," he said.

BP petrol stations. of course for many it is a means to influence the company to lower the prices. but hey, whatever the reason as long as it works.
