CME TARGETS EARTH, MARS: A coronal mass ejection (CME) launched from the sun on Feb. 24th appears set to hit both Earth and Mars. According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the cloud should reach Earth today, Feb. 26th around 1330 UT, followed by Mars two days later.

The cloud's impact could spark a G2-class geomagnetic storm, so high latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

If the forecast is correct, the CME could also hit NASA's Mars rover Curiosity on Feb. 27th. The rover, en route to the red planet onboard the Mars Science Lab spacecraft, is equipped with a radiation sensor that could detect energetic particles accelerated by the CME's passage. Indeed, this has happened before.

The CME was hurled into space by a filament of magnetism, which rose up from the sun's northestern limb and erupted on Feb. 24th: SDO movie. Although much of the cloud headed north, out of the plane of the planets, the cloud's lower edge will dip down low enough to intersect Earth, Curiosity, and Mars.

CME IMPACT: A CME hit Earth's magnetic field on Feb. 26th at ~2100 UT. Although the impact was weak, it did spark some auroras around the Arctic Circle.
The brief outburst, which was visible mainly over Scandinavia, subsided before it became a full-fledged geomagnetic storm.

According to a forecast track prepared by analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the same CME will hit Mars on Feb. 28th. Because Mars has no global magnetic field to protect it, the impact could rip away a small amount of Mars' atmosphere. Any loss from this one CME would be miniscule, but billions of years of CMEs and solar wind gusts might account for a lot of lost martian air.

If the forecast is correct, the CME could also hit NASA's Mars rover Curiosity later today. Curiosity is en route to the red planet onboard the Mars Science Lab spacecraft. The rover is in no danger from the CME, but it might be able to measure energetic particles accelerated by the CME's passage.

AURORA OUTBURST: Last night, for the second night in a row, sky watchers around the Arctic Circle witnessed an impressive display of auroras.


HIs rhetorical flourish isn't far wrong. The cause of the display was the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) tipping south and opening a 'crack' in Earth's magnetosphere. Solar wind poured in and fueled a G1-class geomagnetic storm. This was a high latitude event; the lights were brightest over Scandinavia, Iceland and Greenland.

24 January 2012 - A large solar flare yesterday triggered a coronal mass ejection travelling at 1400 km/s that will reach Earth today. An energetic eruption of this level can disrupt satellites, so operation teams at ESA and other organisations are closely monitoring the storm. A coronal mass ejection (CME) is a huge cloud of magnetised plasma from the Sun's atmosphere – the corona – thrown into interplanetary space. They often occur in association with a solar flare. This ejection was detected by the ESA/NASA SOHO and NASA Stereo spaceborne solar observatories.

CMEs can produce geomagnetic storms when they reach Earth, between two and six days after leaving the Sun.

The solar flare, at 03:59 GMT on Monday, also triggered the strongest stream of protons seen since 2005.

It is likely to cause a minor geomagnetic storm that is not expected to have any serious effect on ground infrastructure such as phone networks, but it might trigger auroral displays at high latitudes. While the flare was stronger than average and the proton storm is the first strong one in seven years, no visible effects on the ground are expected.

FARSIDE EXPLOSIONS: The Earthside of the sun is quiet, but the other side is not. On Feb. 29th, a farside sunspot erupted multiple times, hurling three CMEs over the sun's western limb. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory recorded the expanding clouds: he odds of more farside eruptions today seem high. The odds of Earthside eruptions, however, are just the opposite. FLYING THROUGH A GEOMAGNETIC STORM: Lately, the International Space Station has been flying through geomagnetic storms, giving astronauts an close-up view of the aurora borealis just outside their windows. A magnetic disturbance rippled around the Arctic Circle during the waning hours of March 1st, sparking bright auroras just as night fell over northern Europe.

A medium-speed solar wind stream is buffeting Earth's magnetic field. By itself, this was not enough to explain what happened. The extra ingrediant was the IMF: the interplanetary magnetic field near Earth tilted south, opening a crack in our planet's magnetosphere. Solar wind poured in and fueled the display.

EMERGING SUNSPOT, STRONG FLARE: A big new sunspot is emerging over the sun's northeastern limb. It announced itself on March 2nd at 1746 UT with an M3-class solar flare. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash: Although the blast site was partially eclipsed by the solar limb, the flare nevertheless created waves of ionization in Earth's upper atmosphere. Dave Gradwell of Birr Ireland detected the effect of these waves on the propagation of low-frequency radio signals across Europe. The explosion also hurled a faint CME over the northeastern limb: SOHO movie. The expanding cloud is not Earth-directed.

The sunspot has a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbors energy for strong M-class solar flares. Indeed, it has already unleashed an M3-class eruption on March 2nd that created mild waves of ionization in the atmosphere over Europe.

It is probably not known to you, or at least only very few know, what these geomagnetic storms in reality are. You have all kinds of explanations for them, and they are mostly correct from your point of view. But they describe only an aspect of what is happening.

There are still a lot of mysteries which you and your mainstream scientists have not yet understood.

These magnetic storms are of course triggered by your sun’s activities, but there are still major gaps in your knowledge, regarding the sun’s functions and the reality of its consciousness, which is also the reason that there is so far not a valid name for it available to you.

As long as this mystery is not solved, you cannot know what electromagnetic storms really are, not just as described by your physicians, as you imagine them and the sun from a dualistic point of view, limited by a 3D leveled knowledge.

The true essence of the sun and of the solar winds and electromagnetic storms can only be rightly understood with a multidimensional consciousness, and this is also the reason, why you do not know the sun’s own inherent name, so that it seems to have, from your point of view, no distinct personality.

With a multidimensional consciousness the nature of personality is understood completely different. We encourage our channel to translate the information which we are now providing into your 3dimensional language.

The sun is a star, who is operative on many levels, and not only on yours. With levels we mean dimensions and parallel worlds. In other parallel worlds and dimensions your sun has satellites too, but they are inherently different planets, who orbit it. And planets who partially vibrate much higher than the ones in your solar system, and those who vibrate lower.

Because of its multidimensional nature the sun has many names in each of the dimensions, in which it functions. But they are always only limited to the specific point of view of each one of these dimensions.

If you look at your own multidimensional existence, you will have a better understanding. Also you are vibrating differently in each dimension, and your relationships differ and so your names. But what is your own inherent name?

As above so below. Why should your sun function differently than you do.

As it is the sun’s task, for which it prepared for Millions of years, to catapult you and your familiar solar system into a higher dimension, and as its present state, in which it appears to you, is only transitory, it has no permanent name therefore in your limited awareness. This is because you cannot yet understand your sun’s true nature. Its face is, so to speak, constantly changing and is taking on the shape, according to who and in which parallel world and dimension somebody is observing it.

There are not many stars with this unique quality, but exactly these stars do not have a name in the conventional sense. This is so, so that your mind is not imploded on itself and can “carry a hole” so that it can go through it beyond the limitation of what is known to it.

And only planets like yours who play a special Divine Role in the universe are being associated with such a star. The unique role of your earth is to be an experiment for Divine Evolution. As such she goes through many phases and experimental challenges.

These stars are so called substations as required and they are always used where change is needed. Millions of years are in this context only a moment, while they are for you an unimaginable long period of time. You can only understand this if you allow several dimensions and realms simultaneously to exist, to be melted into a new Reality.

We ask you to use your intuition and to distance yourself from your linear mind and to allow paradoxes.

Now we continue with the solar winds and the geomagnetic disturbances on your earth.

What you consider as disturbance, is the inflow of the frequencies of other dimensions and parallel worlds through your sun, which evoke these fluctuations in your geomagnetic field. Because your bodies are calibrated to a specific geomagnetic field, they are not easy to bear. However the influx of these energies from other realms of the universe have been allowed, to break the cocoon of your long lasting onerous sleep open.

As you make assumptions solely based on a reality that appears to you in dual pairs, while you fence off other realities, not considering them in the united field of consciousness as being part of yours, but as “alien” influences, which is a sign of a missing unity consciousness, it makes it even more difficult for you to tolerate these influences, coming from “somewhere else”.

Consider the power of the mind, which creates the worlds. In your case it is deeply imprinted in your mind and therefore also in your sensory apparatus that “different” and “unknown” is “disturbing” and “incompatible”. With this you create per se already resistance and thereby a problem.

In addition there is the inflexibility of your body. The more it has shed limited and on separation based thought patterns and has assimilated light, the better it can tolerate different vibrations and states of being. Especially those coming from Divine realms and are not states of consciousness which have separated themselves from the Divine Unity Consciousness.

In this regard your thinking is usually mostly linear and conventional. But your familiar logic will not help you much to understand this subject. Therefore we recommend to strengthen your intuition and to utilize the deeper knowledge of your heart. This of course requires for many of you a certain practice.

With this information we wish to help you, to expand your consciousness regarding the disturbances you are experiencing at present on your earth, and to perceive things in a new and greater coherence. This is also goal and practice when you ascend to higher dimensions: to let go your previous field of imagination and to step up to a new platform of understanding, on which in the first place EVERYTHING is possible.

Creation is infinitely variable, and what appears to you as law, including your laws of physics, they appear to you as such as your mind works accordingly. When you expand your mind you will discover that your previous laws are not valid anymore and must be replaced by new ones, those who comply with your changed state of mind.

Of course, your confinement over Millenniums, accompanied by the manipulation of your DNA, has caused such limitation on your outlook. But as the walls of your prison are falling, also your horizon widens. We have given you this information in this context, so that with your expanded mind you can transcend what you have considered so far to be disturbing or felt even to be pathogenic for your body.

Alone your readiness to open your mind allows the newly incoming frequencies of light, which carry the codes of your DNA awakening, to expand your consciousness substantially, and your capacity to recognize your Divine Purpose in the universe and to live it. Your readiness alone allows the new energies to immediately begin with their work.

Feel the fresh current of revival and awakening and allow the process to evolve from now on exponentially. Your ascension in consciousness can thereby be accelerated in breathtaking speed.

You can recognize this possibility merely by the fact how much you have changed and evolved already in the last year.

AURORA WATCH: High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras on March 6th and 7th. Sunspot AR1429 has hurled two CMEs into space since it emerged over the weekend. Neither cloud is heading directly toward Earth, but both could deliver glancing blows to our planet's magnetic field. NOAA forecasters say there is a 30% to 40% chance of polar geomagnetic storms during the next 24-48 hours.

WASHINGTON (AP) — An impressive solar flare is heading toward Earth and could disrupt power grids, satellite navigating systems and airplane flights. Forecasters at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center said the sun erupted Tuesday evening and the effects should start smacking Earth late Wednesday night, close to midnight EST (0500 GMT). They say it is the biggest in five years and growing.

The magnetic storm has the potential to trip electrical power grids. Its radio emissions can disrupt global positioning systems to make them less accurate. It also could damage satellites. Scientists said communication problems and radiation from the storm will probably force airplanes to avoid flying over the north and south poles. Colorful auroras may be more visible.

The storm started with a massive solar flare Tuesday evening and grew as it raced outward from the sun, expanding like a giant soap bubble, scientists said. The charged particles were expected to hit at 4 million mph.

The storm struck about 6 a.m. EST in a direction that causes the least amount of problems, said Joe Kunches, a scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center.

HUGE SUNSPOT: Active sunspot AR1429 continues to grow. It is now more than seven times wider than Earth, which makes it an easy target for backyard solar telescopes.


CHANCE OF FLARES: NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of an X-class solar flare today from big sunspot AR1429. The sunspot is almost directly facing Earth, so any such eruptions should be geoeffective.

According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the CME will arrive on March 11th at 0649 UT (+/- 7 hr) adding to the geomagnetic unrest already underway. An animated forecast track shows that the cloud will also hit the Mars Science Lab spacecraft and Mars itself on March 12th and 13th, respectively.

ANOTHER CME TARGETS EARTH: Sunspot AR1429 has unleashed another strong flare, an M6-class eruption on March 9th at 0358 UT. The blast hurled a coronal mass ejection almost directly toward Earth. According to analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the CME will arrive on March 11th at 0649 UT (+/- 7 hr). NOAA forecasters say the odds of a strong geomagnetic storm at that time is 50%. The same eruption that hurled the CME toward Earth also produced a monsterous tsunami of plasma on the sun. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the shadowy but powerful wave rippling away from the blast site: The tsumani was about 100,000 km high and raced outward at 250 km/s with a total energy of about 2 million megatons of TNT. Such waves often underlie CMEs like the one en route to Earth now.

Animated forecast tracks show that the CME will also hit the Mars Science Lab (MSL) spacecraft on March 12th followed by Mars itself on March 13th. Mars rover Curiosity onboard MSL might get some interesting readings as the cloud passes by.

CALM BEFORE THE STORM: Earth's magnetic field is growing quiet again after two days of geomagnetic storming prompted by CME impacts. At the peak of the disturbance on March 9th, Northern Lights were spotted in the United States as far south as the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oregon, Wyoming, Illinois, Montana, and even Kansas. The finest displays, as usual, were reserved for Alaska:

"Almost immediately after sunset, the sky began to fill with ribbons of auroras above Chena Hot Springs (just outside Fairbanks) in Alaska," reports photographer Christopher Freemantle. "The intensity grew until very bright, multicoloured and fast moving auroras were visible."

Although the magnetosphere is calm now, more storms arre in tthe offing. A CME hurled toward our planet by the M6-class solar flare of March 9th is expected to reach Earth during the early hours of March 11th. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras. http://www.spaceweather.com/

Pane said next year is when it will be much worse. I think things are moving in that directions but will back off a bit until the summer solstice. This is just an uneducated guess and I really know nothing until it happens these days.

WEEKEND SOLAR FLARE: Sunspot AR1429 is still erupting this weekend. On Saturday, March 10th, it produced a powerful M8-class flare that almost crossed the threshold into X-territory. During the flare, New Mexico amateur astronomer Thomas Ashcraft recorded a series of radio bursts at 21 and 28 MHz:
The roaring sounds you just heard are caused by shock waves plowing through the sun's atmosphere in the aftermath of the explosion. "There is incredible complexity in the waveforms," notes Ashcraft. "This is a recording of one of the most turbulent events in all of Nature!"

In addition, the explosion propelled yet another CME toward Earth. According to a forecast track prepared by analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab, the cloud will hit our planet's magnetosphere on March 12th at 1803 UT (+/- 7 hr), possibly sparking a new round of geomagnetic storms.

After passing Earth, the CME will also hit the Mars Science Lab (MSL) spacecraft on March 13th followed by Mars itself on March 14th. Mars rover Curiosity onboard MSL might get some interesting readings as the cloud passes by.
