Sheep have feelings too.

One of the most depressing things about human consciousness is that the vast majority cannot extend their minds to the notion that eating the flesh of their fellow creatures is totally unnecessary in a world were there is an abundance of food that is not connected to a chain of violence and slaughter and the karmic residue that comes with it.

I think perhaps this is one of the things the planet will be addressing shortly.

Global Analysis of Publicly Available Safety Data for 9,801 Substances Registered under REACH from 2008-2014

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) warehouses the largest public dataset of in vivo and in vitro toxicity tests.
In December 2014 this data was converted into a structured, machine readable and searchable database using linguistic search engines.
It contains data for 9,801 unique substances, 3,609 unique study descriptions and 816,048 study documents.This allows exploring toxicological
data on a scale far larger than previously available".

Animal suffering at the hand of human beings is one of humanity's largest karmic burdens and this publication, although presented in a
very scientific way, in time made understandable to the layman, could help to bring an end to at least animal testing in laboratories.

Little by little with people taking stands like this as they come to realize that what's been born out of plain ignorance that the animal kingdom deserves respect we may well begin to see changes taking place that will make this world a better place to live for all living creatures.
