From her own mouth...it comes from her heart. Imagine how this world would be, and how amazing we all could be, if we all spoke form nothing but the heart.
And saw through the eyes of a child
Thanks for sharing this extraordinary child.

Re: Former Times Music
I'm not sure mudra. The website given in this myspace profile is www.arvopart.info and their legal notice reads like that:
http://www.arvopart.info/legal.html
This website is in no way associated with or owned by the composer Arvo Pärt, or by any of his representatives, agents or distributors. Therefore, no email correspondence sent to us should be understood as being sent to Mr Pärt himself.
I think the myspace profile is just the guy who runs arvopart.info. His name is Jesse Mazo from London.
Frankly, I don't see Arvo Part blogging at all. He does not even use a computer to compose.

Re: Former Times Music
You are right I was even surprised he would have a blog.
He has better things to do than loosing his time there.
I found some nice guitaring piece from one of the posters there
though I posted it on the guitaring thread .
Thanks for pointing it out.

Keith Jarrett - Paris Concert - October 17, 1988

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIxkKFktb6c&feature=&p=190975991C965BE2&index=0&playnext=1
The Paris Concert is a live solo piano album by American pianist Keith Jarrett, and released by ECM Records. It was recorded on October 17, 1988 at the Salle Pleyel, in Paris, France in front of a live audience.
The first track on the album is simply entitled "October 17, 1988," named after the day of the concert. It is one of Jarrett's unpremeditated solo works; a 38 minute-long improvisation without pause. The first 7 to 8 minutes is a very dark, classically influenced, almost chorale-like ostinato in C minor, very reminiscent of a church hymn played on an organ. After leaving this melodic development, Jarrett plays a repeated bass vamp in his left hand that has almost a rock-ish feel to it, and in his right hand he improvises some very intense, almost sinister lines allluding to F minor and B-flat minor. After resolving again with the slow Baroque-esque themes again, he concludes.

Re: Former Times Music
Thank You metaw
I like Keith Jarret's music.
I have had the opportunity to see him live in Belgium.
However his music is really one that I appreciate best
tucked in a sofa around the fire place in winter time
or out in the garden on a hot summer day.
What I mean it conveys to me a lovely sense of intimacy.

This youtube user got the title wrong. This is not In Principio but rather Da Pacem Domine:
https://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=67495366E9CE7694
And the complete In Principio has been uploaded to youtube for the first time last week:
https://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9C098F1BD7DF7910
There are now 485 videos on the Arvo Pärt Explorer channel:
