I've always thought that public parkland should be comprised of an edible landscape that helps feed the community. Fruit and nut trees, cabbage and potato patches, etc.

Awesome ... so these will grow without even the need of digging ?
I might well throw some like that in my garden and see what happens.
I am really interested in permaculture more than any other traditional way of growing vegetables and flowers.
I think the different seeds like it best that way .
I say this because I planted some flower seeds in a pot and added to it some vegetable sprouts that I had left over.
What is amazing is that in that particular pot these sprouts grew much faster than in the one where I kept them unmixed .

    Thanks floyd .

    Love from me
