Yellowstone is getting ready to erupt

    http://theinterveners.org/Yellowstone/wrapper.php?file=YMP_EHZ_WY_01.2011021700.gif

    Commentary from seismologists:
There's a distinct Multiphase Harmonic tremor which means the caldera is showing tension and will release eruptions inorder to relieve the stress. These seismo anomolies don't resemble anything like quake readings. They have been going on for some time too. Awhile back there were readings that looked like they could be harmonic tremors as they resembled known harmonic tremor readings. Harmonic tremors are a good sign there will be (eruption) activity in the near days at yellowstone. (likely mid March)

And it's present throughout most of the siesmos in the area, seems to be focused towards the southeast of the old caldera.

Watch to see if the signal gets stronger and develops shortwave harmonics.

    Steam eruption VEI 1-3

Localized eruption AOE ~20 km rad

Timeframe is always difficult to pin with regular Volcanoes with Super-Volcanoes more so, but if it is to occur likely in 2-3 weeks (mid March)

Mount St. Helens is also getting active. A 5.1 set off Mt. St. Helene's. Before Pinatubo there were several smaller quakes like the one's we are seeing at Yellowstone. The Yellowstone caldera is only 5 miles deep, a quake at .9 could easily mean there is magma moving to the surface.

February 16, 2011 -- The calm before the storm. Three CMEs are enroute, all a part of the Radio Blackout events on February 13, 14, and 15 (UTC). The last of the three seems to be the fastest and may catch both of the forerunners about mid to late day tomorrow, February 17. Watch this space for updates on the impending -- G2, possibly periods of G3 -- geomagnetic storming.
