While I have since discovered many gems, prior to a spending a few brief months in Chicago (brr) in 2004, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer's, "The Power of Intention", caught my eye and helped me make a quantum leap toward metaphysics. I caught "The Power of Intention" on PBS, during a pledge drive.
It seemed as if the words and the light around them were glowing.
I ordered the book and read it with abandon. Then I read it again.
This led to greeting him in San Francisco while he was on tour (my pledge included tickets).
"A Course in Miracles" was one of the books for sale in the lobby, and the Bible has not looked the same, since.
I still need to read the "Wisdom of the Tao..."
Dyer does not believe in Karma...
