In this interview with Joe Rogan, Michael Shellenberger struggled to answer Rogan's question about fake whistleblowers flooding the UFO field. I think Rogan raises a good point about fakes poisoning the whistleblower well. This is especially the case with anonymous whistleblowers who may be genuine or fake and approach mainstream journalists who are fairly new to the phenomenon. IMHO the fake whistleblower possibility is less a problem when individuals publicly reveal themselves or work with UFO researchers over an extended period and maintain a consistent story.

Elon Musk is correct that many UFOs have a terrestrial explanation - highly classified craft built for the US military. I believe Musk understands that legacy aerospace companies will never share what they have built using classified tech, especially if it is from retrieved alien spacecraft. SpaceX and newer aerospace companies will have to reinvent the wheel to catch up to what the legacy companies have built for secret space programs for decades. Michael: Thanks to all concerned about us here in Key West. We escaped the worst of Hurricane Milton, just some wind gusts up to 40mph and a small storm surge.
