In Oregon, the most statistically likely volcano in the state to produce the next eruption is also larger than the land area of Rhode Island. What I am referring to is the Newberry shield volcano which has produced a combination of both highly explosive summit eruptions and flank effusive to moderately explosive eruptions. This video will discuss its massive edifice, how it formed, and what its future hazards are.
