Thousands of port workers go on strike,
shutting down East and Gulf Coast ports
At least 25,000 union dockworkers are on strike in the Eastern and Southern U.S. after talks between the International Longshoremen's Association and shipping companies failed to reach a new contract. The union representing the dockworkers is seeking higher pay and protections against automation replacing workers.

The port workers strike could cripple the U.S. economy.
The port workers strike could cripple the U.S. economy. Listen to Harold Dagget, the chief negotiator for the International Longshoremen Association.
He operates like a mafia boss and tells you what he's about to unleash. Not what Biden-Harris needs before the November election. https://t.co/9TeCempALs
Here is one of the ports of Houston that is just freaking empty.
I’ve never seen it like this ever. This was a full on plan to empty this facility it takes weeks to complete to state it’s in right now. This is not about the contract of the longshoremen 100% They are using it as a decoy of what’s really happening with these ports. This is real and it’s awesome how it’s being handled for the public.
Wake up people you are being set free.
