I wasn't sure where to post this?
The first point of interest for me in November happens to be the new Moon itself which occurs on the 6th at 13 degrees Scorpio which is the degree that Venus and Mars finally got to meet up last month and it's also close to where Venus turned retrograde so we have something symbolic taking place here. The Sabian symbol is "Telephone linemen at work" which gives us as image of communication being repaired or improved in some way. All forms of communication are highlighted including those that take place in the hidden realms.
The chart for the new Moon gives us the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus all in Scorpio with an interesting Pluto in Capricorn conjunct the north node which suggests a clearing away of blockages and stagnant energies so that we can move into the future. The north node is what represents the overall spiritual goal and in Capricorn it talks of finding ways to bring our abilities into the public realm so that they can be put to greater use, keywords for Capricorn are "I use" and it has a conection to our status within the eyes of society. Capricorn favours tradition but Pluto alongside suggests reformation of those traditions and whilst these two are conjunct we should get to see what is in store for the whole of the Pluto in Capricorn transit which will last until 2024. Still on the theme of communication we have Mercury in a difficult square to the Chiron/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius, I get the feeling that any talking could be made more challenging through unrealistic ideals or possibly an unwillingness to go deep enough into any emotion being experienced. Scorpio is not afraid of immersing itself in emotional intensity yet Aquarius is happier doing everything from a distance - Chiron in the mix suggests a wound being at the root of any problem and looking more closely it says that the issue may well be that someone is feeling like an alien from another planet and the reason they can't communicate on this occasion comes down to the fact they just don't feel like they belong here. Effort must be used to overcome any tendencies to dissociate from uncomfortable situations and Mercury does have help in the form of Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces so tackling things from a universal perspective may help but we have to feel it and not just think it. Mars makes only one aspect which is a sextile to Saturn so there is the intention to do some work on creating a more solid structure within love but it has to be done with honesty and we cannot resist the clearing away of the old because Pluto is still within orb of a square to Saturn.
The full Moon is on the 21st in Taurus at 29 degrees which is a critical degree of any sign, the Sabian symbol is "A peacock parading on an ancient lawn", the only way I can see to interpret this is that we may be beautiful or we may have a lot in the eyes of others but we don't have to show off and we may need to guard against vanity. The peacock is a very graceful bird but it is the male of the species who has the look, will we see the men puffing out their chests and showing their feathers in an attempt to catch the eye of the the females? It's a nice thought and the feathers on the bird certainly do suggest that someone will be saying "all eyes are on me". Mercury and Mars sit together in Sagittarius and whilst this is a good thing for getting some truth it may also be delivered just a little bit too sharply, sometimes there isn't a way to sugarcoat the words we need to deliver and this combination suggests hobnail boots not fluffy slippers, there is the possibility it'll fly out before the brain registers what is going on yet Mercury in Sag does imply that conversations will be taking place in the mind and whatever Freudian slips occur around this time we are likely to know deep down that it just had to come out. The other saying that may be relevant is "Many a true word spoken in jest", Sagittarius can be a bit of a comedian at times and Mars likes to provoke a response be it good or bad. Guard against the tendency to argue just for the sake of it and make sure you are willing to commit to whatever it is you are fighting for.
Other significant events for the months give us Neptune turning direct on the 7th which means our dreams and visions can be given some serious attention, anything that has been shoved into the recess of the unconscious can now be brought to light. Neptune will now continue to move forwards until it reaches Pisces next year though it'll only be giving us a taster of what is to come in 2012. Neptune rules dreams, illusion, escapism and all things that pull us into the nothingness yet it is also the place of that which is yet to be created. Neptune has been retrograde since the end of May so whatever you have been internalising since then will start to make itself known. It turns direct at 25 degrees Aquarius which has a Sabian symbol of "A hydrometer", this symbol talks of gut instincts and how we mirror each other. More will be revealed through those that have been carrying your projections during the retrograde phase. It's time for the blinkers to come off so you can do some realistic assessments of those situations that have been clouding your judgement.
Mercury and Venus are both changing signs on the 8th. Mercury lightens up and flies off into Sagittarius and here we have maximum energy for telepathy and Venus slips back into Libra which is where she was at in early September so we could have old events being very relevent until she turns direct along with Jupiter on the 18th, we should all start to feel more productive on the love front once Venus has turned direct but it's the 22nd of December before we clear this phase completely, poor old Venus doesn't want to do anything on her own at the moment does she? Venus does manage to get back into Scorpio on the 30th all on her own but we don't have any help from the heavens in sorting out what it is that we truly value, Mars (the significant other ) will increase co-operation next month but it'll still demand effort because he looks to be busy with work and making a name for himself.
The Sun enters Sagittarius on the 22nd shifting the focus onto travel and movement be it physical or metaphorical, it's a good time to broaden those horizons especially whilst Mercury and Mars are hanging around. All in all the month looks interesting and lively, we may still be struggling to get to where we want to be but life is starting to move forward again.
