In 2008, three days before a devastating earthquake hit China’s Sichuan Province; thousands of toads suddenly were seen moving across a bridge in Taizhou (May 9, 2008, see photo). Chinese authorities did not associate that event with the earthquake.

In times like these, in which we have witnessed several 7+ earthquakes in August along with natural and manmade catastrophes – wildfires in Russia, floods in Pakistan, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, and the gas-line explosion in San Bruno, California – many people are experiencing great stress and upheaval.
Growing numbers are feeling sincere compassion and care for the people, wildlife and environments affected. Global Coherence Initiative members and various prayer and meditation groups are sending out love and care to help uplift people affected, create global well-being and relieve suffering.
