A hint for all quacks: principially German law allows any country doctor to execute genital surgeries, no qualification is needed, only a manifestation of intent according to civil law...

Re: Visions of the Future
Once I inherited a pile of 1950s SF-novelettes... to me the best of those was the story that climaxed with the analogy of the cube and the canyon... Do you still own that one, Elon Musk? I never read the English original...

Re: Visions of the Future
Interesting that this thread transformed into spaceships..
so, the obvious place for my latest muse..
STAR WARS!
those of us of a certain age (ahem) can really not have a soft spot for star wars.. I was 11 years old when the the first star wars movie was released.. and there was nothing like it at the time.. a new step in cinema.. it was amazing! Literally unique. By today's standards it was a terrible movie, corny. cliched, lazy script writing, the good guys wore white and the baddie was in black. terrible really, but I was sold. I cant really watch the old movies today, but I do remember the impact at the time, much the same as 'Alien' and 'Avatar'. Classics of their time.. But only of their time (not Alien..pre digital / computers that movie is incredible, even by today's standards.. but I digress)
Anyway.. a torn tendon in my elbow and heavy rains.. so a much needed rest.. and a day browsing the internet..And a decision to avoid all things covid / great reset. Hey! it's my day off, after all.
and my discovery that the star wars franchise / canon had been sold to Disney! and they have been churning out material as fillers between the 6 movies previously released to the cinema audiences.. I had no idea.
The latest was an animation feature..'The clone wars. The bad batch'. Why not?
It was much 'darker' than the original series, more intelligent /interesting script..
The second episode, released a few days ago, documented the change from the 'republic' to the 'empire'. All the good folk found that their money was useless! They had to transfer to the new empire's credit system. They all needed digital identification and digital currency. It was mentioned how such a database would record every living being in the entire system. Those without the digital currency would be outcast, no travel, no transport, no food, no life. Surrender to the new world order or die.
wow. just wow. so much for a day without covid!
gaslighting much?
It is in your face. they announce their plans across all formats.
may the force be with you

"I am beyond good and evil"
Saarai-kaar, the Witch of Endor
Saarai-kaar, the Witch of Endor
(As if the media would be the final cause - and this is not in the interest of the state. I am about narrative transduction and use a certain archetype, and the medial representations I use as interpretants.
RL my problem is not the state but the judges and the bigot moral they represent in the name of the people and their media.
The Matrix offered to me no possibilty to identify, so I developed Triskely and the Obstacle.)
