It's said that the PTW place the chemtrails to block out the Sun's rays so there is definitely some kind of reflective 'barrier' being formed in the atmosphere around us by them.  It stands to reason to me that a barrier that could block and reflect energy from coming in could in turn block and reflect energy from going out from the planet as well.  As they want to keep quiet about the chemtrails is doesn't take a genius to figure out they'd want to play down what may a further unwelcome repercussion from putting them there as well.
