Has another mini ice age begun?

Winter seems to be a month earlier than usual in N. America. I can say this because I am an elder, now. It's early to be so cold! Thoughts? How is the weather down under, and in the UK, and continent

Time to go to Hawaii maybe!

It was 81 degrees here but the nights are getting cooler.

Of course it's in the high 80s down by the sea.

Well in my neck of the woods it has been -1 to -5 degrees Celsius and further north B.C. and Alberta the temp varies anywhere between -15 to -25. My woodstove is humming.

Ice age ... last year maybe as we had the longest and hardest winter ever here in Belgium.
But if this was the case it's already over as this autumn we are experiencing something
very different . It's quite mild and sunny over here most of the time. I have begun to use
the central heating only recently and am able to use it very sparingly.

It's all of 13 degrees F. in the North Carolina mountains near our cabin. Down here in Columbia, SC it's 36. It's been a cold day in the South. So far its seems like we are starting an early winter.

We'e had snow here in the Pyrenees. But not that unusual for here. But getting colder and have had the first 5 cm of snow on the door step. The mountains looks like it should be a good season for the skiing. But apart from the fact that the wind keeps blowing and most times in the wrong direction to usual.

I think it will be next spring and summer that tell for ice age now and all that. But with the volcanos going off in one day can only mean cooling is going to take another dip over the coming few months.

Brrrrr...its been unusually icy and cold in Southern British Columbia. Course it is December however didn't feel this last year in December. Cold and icy winds for the last two days coming down from the Arctic. Minus temperatures. Of all things a transformer station had a blowout in Victoria yesterday which sent the majority of Victorians into deep freeze until power was restored today.
Can't beat woodstoves in such conditions! This winter we've already had our share of power outages so now we're in the "counting stage".

It's been relatively nippy here in PHX this past week, but nothing like some of the other states are seeing.

Meanwhile, in Ft Lauderdale, FL it's 80ish and sunny.
