Hopefully he journeyed well. We exchanged letters in the late 70s and I met the man about 15 years later at an event, but to me his most memorable act was in 1973 at Wounded Knee. I was in high school at the time and very much wanted to go where this was going down in South Dakota, but my parents who were more assimilated than me into American mainstream society kept me from lighting out.

I'm not clear about his choices in later life.

When you kill a man you take away his human vessel.
When from children you take away their culture, language and tradition,
these values taught by their parents , grand parents, ancestors;  these very building blocks that make a being
part of a community, it is their Heart that you rip apart.
The education system that has become the norm in nowadays world is so much lacking spirit that The Earth
has become a graveyard where most of us don't know anymore how to take part and sustain  Life's essence.

    Schooling the world

If you wanted to change an ancient culture in a generation, how would you do it? You would change the way it educates its children.

The U.S. Government knew this in the 19th century when it forced Native American children into government boarding schools. Today, volunteers build schools in traditional societies around the world, convinced that school is the only way to a 'better' life for indigenous children. But is this true? What really happens when we replace a traditional culture's way of learning and understanding the world with our own? SCHOOLING THE WORLD takes a challenging, sometimes funny, ultimately deeply disturbing look at the effects of modern education on the world's last sustainable indigenous cultures.

Thanks a bunch of Flowers for this post, mudra. As a schoolchild myself, first class secondary shool 1964, I'll never forget my first contact with mathematics, with a teacher drawing all kinds of geometrical figures on the blackboard, presenting this to the class as facts. I had no connection or understanding at all towards this and I raised my hand to ask the teacher about it. He allowed me to ask him "Why is this true?" and he shot me the darkest look ever. I felt a door closing inside of me and I completely turned away from ever listening to him or any mathematics explained in this way.
Only later, when finding the geometrical meaning and explanations in The Flower of Life teachings, I felt with much relief what those figures were
all about. I would love to see that FOL knowledge of geometrical creation laws applied to the education of children, in school or at home!

And as a childminder I've seen what modern schooling did to children and I'm always active in following new forms of schooling or inspire new insights.
In Holland and Belgium there are quite some initiatives to involve childrens bodies, hearts and minds in schooling and the Steiner Schools have been addressing that trinity, by applying creative activities and freedom of expression in theatre and dance, also allowing free thinking and developing initiatives in organizing events and festivities in school.

I wholeheartedly welcome the view and importance of taking into account, the development of the first 7 years of their lives, receiving the astral cocooning of the mother and/or support of mentors present. The choice to keep the same teacher in school for 7 years is connected to that.

Many people understand the Free School or Freie Schule or Vrije School as if it's abount boundless expression and a lack of structure in
this method of schooling. The meaning of Free, Frei or Vrij concerns the freedom of control by the government or the state rules leaving it to
the sovereignty of the people to create a school system that allows children to grow up with emotional resilience, physical health and a mind
of their own. It's surprising that England holds such high esteem for this Steiner school-education, compared to Holland, which is focussed
mainly on cognitive, left brain training and in fast forward favor of short track running to success. A watercountry with frogs burning themselves out!!

Speaking from my mind, that is my own..... as far as I know Cheerful

Russell Means Empty The Bleeping Truth Rare Interview with Ted Gunderson

    Post  B.B.Baghor Tue Feb 24, 2015 3:11 pm

I'm posting in this thread, for the fact that Ted Gunderson was considered a hero.

"The Bleeping Truth - Rare Interview with Ted Gunderson
    Published June 19 2013

This is a classic Ted Gunderson Interview. Ted was an amazing Truth Seeker
and the world was a better place with him around, we will miss Ted and all the
good things Ted did for all of us. We love you Ted".

Interesting and lively interview, with a whistleblower of the first hour, Ted Gunderson.
A genuine storyteller of truth. Subjects discussed are John F. and Bobby Kennedy's assassinations,
mindcontrol programs, satanic cults, the cover up Dr. McDonald murder case in the 70's related to satanic
cult activities threatened to be revealed, children's kidnapping and being put on auctions and the famous
Larry King group of children. In short, pretty much detailed knowledge of pedophile rings existing in the '60's.
