The Future of The Mists Of Avalon Empty The Future of The Mists Of Avalon

Post  TRANCOSO Fri Apr 19, 2013 2:54 pm

Although I don't post here as often as I used to, for me TMOA is still the place to be when it comes to sheer knowledge.

The fact that the forum doesn't seem to attract loads of posters &/or viewers is merely a matter of numbers rather than a matter of lacking quality.

I spend most of my time on GodLikeProductions, where I'm not preaching for converted, but can actually teach things to people who are not as smart as most of us are at TMOA.

The fact that you have a sometimes huge audience is of less importance - although it does tickle my ego every once in a while - than the fact that you share knowledge with the 'unknowingly'.

I do hope that The Mists Of Avalon will continue to exist till eternity, for it's a true library of wisdom, where nearly every post is worthwhile to read.

    Yours sincerly,

    LORD TRANCOSO

I don't post often, Tran, but I wanted to say that I agree with you. The Mists will always be, and we know that any time we want to discuss things around our fire, the opportunity will be there. Shout out to Carol and Mudra and Brook and Orthodoxymoron and and JesterTerrestrial, the list goes on and on. Greetings Mists Of Avalon Friends Members and Readers!

Hey there you folks are! Where is the rest of the crew, busy with life on earth likely. Well the doors are always open here for the Original Round of Camelot and the Dragons of Avalon and Council Of Thuban! Others have always been invited to join in on our discussion of the main flow and to help with covering the ever amazing unfolding truth movement that many of you have been on the front lines of for years now!

The importance of the mists as a place to gather in awareness will be something that I will never forget! There is a crew of people around the world looking for answers and information and this discussion and research forum was created in the fall out of project avalon/camelot. When certain people banned other people from our fourm! This story goes back years now but to me is still an important fact in my journey to giving the world extra terrestrial disclosure and to have a group of informed awake friends on the team! If we stop sharing then we will go blind!

A long time ago I said that the mists of Avalon needs an upgrade. And the IFFW! DOSE NOT STOP!!! You need to expand the home page to include expanded scroll box...a larger over view..a bigger picture...a reformat to keep pace with the ever shifting needs of the team! So that we dont have to spend like 2 years telling you to stop posting blind links and not participating in conversations you should probably be banned!

So hang on, the 'energy' lives! and my words are proof enough to me! Have a great day everyone ... see you in the future The best is yet to come! And the show goes on! Never give up. You hear that.

    Thanks,

    IFFW! ADMIN

It's a bit like telling a Scotsman that Johnny Walker is whiskey.

Heineken is for tourists, and so is our weed.

Beren, I could give you a lecture about Dutch beer, but I'm off to MacDonalds, before they're closed - 100% pure beef they serve there, in case you didn't know...

O'Douls Amber on the Rocks for me!! I think I'd like to see a combination of the Old Avalon (without the drama) combined with the Mists of Avalon (with more members). It seems as if there are really only a couple of dozen regular posters here -- and most everyone has stopped talking to me (or perhaps I have stopped talking to them). I liked the white print on blue background. I liked the Bill and Kerry interviews (despite the criticism -- especially of Kerry). I keep envisioning getting briefed by someone who really knows everything about everything -- and I imagine this person (or other than person) being completely different than what I've been exposed to thus far. I seem to end up briefing myself -- with a composite of everyone and everything I've been exposed to. Perhaps this site is just fine -- as is -- because it forces me to be a Galactic Lone Ranger. Sherry Shriner keeps talking about 'them' being very, very angry. She also keeps talking about the New World Order Cabal in conflict with the New-Age Alien-Agenda. She seems to be saying that BOTH of these factions are in serious trouble. I tend to think that EVERYONE is in serious trouble. I'm seriously trying to figure out what to do -- without regard to which faction is in or out of power. I continue to think that a bad@ss faction is required to gain and retain power -- but that such a faction always ends up misusing and abusing the commoners. I continue to sense that some sort of a meltdown is immanent in this solar system -- regardless of who rules -- and regardless of how they rule. Too many dark secrets are being exposed -- and we may be facing revolutionary change -- rather than the preferred evolutionary change. I just hope that we survive the coming changes. The technological advances seem to be making humanity obsolete. Is there a way to properly combine Socialism and Capitalism in sort of a Responsible Enterprise (as opposed to Free Enterprise or Laissez Faire Capitalism)?? Sorry for the tangential rant.

Hi Oxy, After listening to a number of folks who crossed over and came back I've come to the conclusion to be non-judgmental. That we are here for the life experience and life is meant to be enjoyed irrespective of all the hoopla and negativity others put out there. My focus as usual is on the sun and earth changes as compared to the pitiful interactions between the different fractions, where I feel utterly helpless to do anything other then to shake my head and refocus on something I do have control over - like the garden I'm neglecting, or the chickens who sneak off to have clutches of baby chicks where we now have a rooster farm as compared to just a few egg laying hens. Everywhere I go, I'm tripping over baby chicks. I'm just enjoying each day and what it brings. I figure this is the best I can do for human kind to help balance out all the negative stuff. Of course I have high hopes of the dinar revaluing soon so we can do more fun stuff like get an aquaponics green house set up and travel. Becoming more and more self-sufficient is what is fun for me. I just saw this new stove The Kimberly Wood Stove that looks pretty cool and would work great for our house in Oregon where it is fricking cold 8 months out of the year. http://www.safecastle.com/the-kimberly-wood-stove.aspx I was thinking something like this would also be good for a greenhouse there too.

I don't mind your tangential rants. I figure most of us are just trying to sort stuff out on a regular basis and each of us has our own wealth of knowledge. It'd be fun someday to get all together and sit around a campfire enjoying the stout. I'd like that as most here feel like old friends. Hadriel Lawless Toast Flowers

You make some very valid points, Carol. Even if we somehow set everything up in absolute perfection -- it wouldn't be long before jealously, fighting, power-struggling, etc, etc, etc would screw-up paradise. I really think this is what happened in the Garden of Eden -- and that very little has changed since then. I suspect that we have hidden leaders who could easily pass a 'V' Empathy Test -- in part because running the show in this neck of the woods requires very thick skin. Nothing is ever right. Nothing is ever good enough. Someone gets left out in the cold, etc, etc, etc. I will continue to post idealistic conceptualizations -- knowing full-well that it would be next to impossible to implement my idealistic plans. I'm very, very close to focusing on astronomy and sacred classical music. I sort of started out this way in my youth -- but I somehow got led astray by a cold, cruel, screwed-up world. I sometimes get the urge to join the Masons -- and become a corrupt banker and weapons salesman -- so I can buy a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Shallow Underground Civilian Base -- and thumb my nose at the commoners when the excrement contacts the refrigeration system. Just kidding -- or am I????

Ortho, anybody can buy a (second, 3ed or 16th hand) Porsche 911 Turbo, but to keep it driving you need a sh#tload of petty cash.

Do you know what a set of Pirelli's cost?

Well, let's put it this way, you need at least 4 new tires every 3 months, x4 a year, if you safely wanna drive 220 mph - and why else would you buy a Porsche?

I prefer Ferrari above Porsche, although you need at least 6 sets of Pirelli's a year.

One of my ultra-rich friends - who drives a Lamborghini, once said: "Porsches are poor peoples sports cars."

NB: In Amsterdam the only way of transportation that gets you in no time from A to B and back again is a bicycle...

It'd be fun someday to get all together and sit around a campfire enjoying the stout. I'd like that as most here feel like old friends. Hadriel Lawless Toast Flowers

Well if everyone did everything what is up to them in their sphere of influence, everything would be a paradise.

    :)

But even this place that we have here is a good step forward.

    P.S.

This is seriously becoming THE emoticon of choice for many!

I don't know about the future Tran but I know about the present.
It so happens that the Mists of Avalon opened their doors in april 2010.
Three years we fare together here folks ... and with some that many more in Avalon .
I believe we truly are in each other's hearts.
There are times when I not sure what I prefer most : find inspiring things to post
or just come here to share some time with you .
I could write a blog and post my stuff there but I would miss you badly there.
I love our campfire and even if our complicity knows times of silence ,
    you are my Soul family.
There are some new members even if not many that I truly appreciate too.
It's not about quantity but quality of being I would say.

The moment I met you I loved you all.
In many ways you help me grow.

    The Karen

It`s good to have you here

I have received private messages asking me to start a thread to have the OBNOXIOUS SPAMMER WE ARE YOU BANNED!!!

What is your agenda? Is it to disrupt the flow of the conversation because it has not worked! WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO BECAUSE THE MEMBERS HERE SURE DONT APPEAR TO BE TALKING TO YOU!!! WHO EVER YOU ARE!!! Just some more anonymous bullshit. Anyone can put on a mask and pretend to be a light worker star seed indigo crystal child but that dose not make it so!!!

    Words of wisdom!

I agree wholeheartedly that WE ARE YOU is an absolute attention addict.

What really irritates me is that her posts push a lot of regular newly posted replies off of 'WELCOME', what makes The Mists of Avalon sometimes look like the WE ARE YOU forum.

Give WE ARE YOU an own section and 'denied access' to all other threads.

(Besides that WE ARE YOU ain't doing Krishna a favor, spamming his name like this, imo. If I was Krishna I would have taken measures into my own mighty hand - I pass him an informal note on the matter, next time I see him at a Galactic CEO Board meeting...)

JESTER, always a pleasure to read your rage!

I like beer with substance also. Innis and Gunn porter is one that I enjoy very much.

Hello old friends .... nice to see you again.

    hehe

I didn`t know that my beer comment would spawn good times here... I vote for Belgian dark beers!

So it's 'Beeren' instead of 'Beren'...
