We all here are familiar with the well publicized Occupy Wall Street protest movement which began September 17, 2011 in Zuccotti Park, in New York City's Wall Street financial district. It rose-up quite admirably against the social and economic inequality, high unemployment, greed, as well as corruption, and the undue influence of corporations—particularly from the financial services sector—on government... Truly noble causes for the masses to take on. But this next 'Story' about a radically impulsive lone protesting young man - really caught my attention... Surprised

    WOLFER The Story Wolfercrop

If you want to get people going in Montana and Idaho, bring up wolves. Should they be encouraged to live in those areas, or shot on sight? Wolf advocates say there’s enough room for livestock and wolves to live together, while ranchers argue that wolves kill sheep and cattle.

Carter Niemeyer has been in the middle of this debate for years. He has wrestled with wolves to relocate them and examined the scenes of livestock kills to determine if wolves were responsible. He is a wolfer - a hunter of wolves - and he can help a pack flourish, though at times he must kill them.

As a white northerner in the South, Gurdon struggled with two kinds of discrimination that summer - from both African-American parishioners and his fellow white clergymen.
