Hey everybody! Currently celebrating 420 near the loop in Chicago. We plan on heading east from here to Boston. Anyways, about a week ago I wrote a post on my blackberry, and I had troubling posting it with the forum with the whole forum change. So here's the post!
From the realms of digital blogging thanks to the ever growing
addiction of mobile technology, here is your good friend and wanderer
of the universe, Gregor Arturo.
Good day everyone, and I hope the sun is shining today as bright as it
did for me. At the moment, I am just outside St. Louis, Missouri fast
approaching the great Mississippi. About a week ago, my lovely partner
in crime Claudia and I left Sedona, Arizona. Since then we've been to
the grand canyon, stayed with a navajo family on the reservation,
walked through a dust storm, hitchhiked in the back of a horse trailer,
guerilla camped a few times, traversed the rockies, and even got smoked
up by a few free spirited eccentrics at different points. Also, if you
are not aware of our journeys, we've been traveling with just our
backpacks since the end of August around the western US, spending a lot
of time in Cali and Arizona.
This morning we woke up after camping near a truck stop in Colby,
Kansas, 50 miles from the Colorado border on I-70. I asked Claudia what
our intent was for hitchhiking today, and she said "To get damn far
today." I then added to at least Missouri. We then sent the thought
into the universe. We went to the truck stop at around 7 AM and Claudia
did some homework as she's taking two online classes (we're productive
hitchhikers, myself with the free energy work).
When she finished at around 8:30, we walked outside we discussed for a
second where to actually go hitchhike, and a guy parked in front of us
asked, "Hey you guys need a ride, I'm heading east."
We're almost to his place in Louisiana, Missouri just north of St.
Louis right on the Missisippi River. We're gonna stay on his farm for a
couple of days, and he's gonna take us morel hunting. The whole time we
discussed spirituality and metaphysics, and our different life
experiences. He even treated us to a buffet.
Point of this whole story: Set your intent. Be confident of what you
want in your life. And the universe will answer. However, balance is
always important. We plan to help him in his garden all tomorrow. I
also always give people a piece of my photography from each ride, and
sometimes even given people metaphysical advice. Setting an example by
just being full of love and friendliness can even be giving back as
people learn most by examples alone. And down the road, I'll be helping
out the next wandering free spirit who steps into my life. Be it a
ride, or a place to sleep. We share this experience together. Be free.
