Wired magazine has run a story about the language leaps that dolphins are making with their scientist counterparts. Bout time!

Actually Linda- the first small novel I ever read (non-picture book) as a 5 year old was called: "Fast Talking Dolphin" about a dolphin named Wallingford...

I just looked it up lol:

The Teacher was so pleased with me that she somehow arranged with the school library to give the book to me as a gift.

    Interesting synchronicity!

I will keep up with the research group from Emory (in Atlanta) because if we can get the dolphins to slow down, and when we can understand more complex sentences, we will hit Gold! The Primate Center is having breakthroughs as well. I used to know one of the scientists who used sign language with the chimps when he worked at the Yerkes Center at Emory. What a university! I especially want to hear what the dolphins have to say. Will the scientists ask the right questions? Like in, how old is our civilization? Ah, I'd love to be there.

I love that little kids dolphin book, that was cool that you found it, Luminari.
