"Bad" News/Funny Delivery

This has been inspired by the Bill Mahar [sic] thread. Some say that watching the news is never really a good idea (especially just before going to sleep). I figure that if I have to know what is going on, I might as well learn of it in a way that makes me smile/laugh.

As we are being reminded, maintaining a positive attitude goes a long way in terms of creating a positive timeline on Earth.

Kevin Bacon on "Master Googling"

A tad off-topic, so I am sorry if I offend myself.

Inspired by a poster on the Divine Cosmos FB page. She "innocently" posted "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper, stating that she never understod the lyrics when she was younger, and now that she knows them, the song has taken on a whole new meaning.

Even so, she still did not get it. hehe

After viewing that post and reflecting upon celebrity in the alternative community (if there is such a thing), I remembered this post.

I remember "silly" things from "kids" movies, like <b><i>"Donotopia":</b> "One raindrop raises the sea"

"Donotopia" is one of my favorites.

There is this too: When one drop of water falls into the ocean all of the other drops have to move over.

I tell this to folks who don't think their life makes a difference. Every life makes a difference.

Indeed and once moving over is the action, a Wave / Ripple is produced...

Does the rock cause a ripple, or is it the "ripple" that pulls the rock forward? And what happens to to vaccum created where the drop of moisture resided prior to plunging into said sea? Thus far, I have made it through about 24 of the segements on Nassim Haramein's Unified Field Thoery on You Tube...it's deep.

Just for the sake of continuity:

Maher and Hughley were speaking of the political correctness of replacing the "N" word in books like Huck Finn. Aside from a silly debate that it is okay for Hughley to refer to himself as the "N" word, it is not okay for whites, Hughley's reference to one of the suggestions that the "N" word be replcaed with "slave", was profound: Hughley stated that he would rather be called a bad name. To paraphrase: if you call me [the "N" word] I can still go home. If you call me a slave, that means I have to go home with YOU.

Indeed, I believe Bill Maher said we can start doing our own internet searches for what the terms mean (I never heard of "snorkling" until the military "scandal"; however, it took about 1/2 second for me to understand -- must everything I have tried/done have a name? lol).
