Eastern cities will burn but souls will not!
High peaks of misty mountains cold
    will be fruitful again...

Tears and fallen flower will be a memory
of a time unsung when we were...

    Of glory,
    of sudden blaze,
    of joy
    and happiness!

Souls sang tunes which built worlds
    and afraid were not.
    Game was ever high...
Love was in the air ...

    And air was sheer thought
    and thought was energy
that builds and weaves the tiny marvel,

across the planes of our will...

Hallowed be thy name -became engraved
upon our very soul and golden heart
For in that name we are seeing ourselves
    blooming again and forever...

A little ray of light was bathing
    carelessly whispering tunes of old.
A little ray of hope was joining
    making along tunes of gold.

    And flowers sprang
    and waters ran
    and winds sang
    and trees grew...

    All because of you...
    a tiny ray of light
    that tingles the eternity
    in just one spark...

    Rise high!
You thunder of the God`s sky!
    You precious gift
beneath the horizon of spirit world.

    Remember who you are
    in vastness of realms
    that are
    that shine.

    Awake the Love inside
    roam where you may
and live the dream of all
    who in their fear hide.

    In gardens of Lorien
    some spirits fled
    and souls in fear
    of their Earthly dread.

    Only to find peace eternal
    and regain their strength
    spring again
    into glorious heights!

    Rise again!
    O soul of mine,
    whomever and you are
    you are soul of mine.

    Cherished beyond thought
    Loved beyond words
    cared for beyond hope
    you little soul of God.

    Rise high!
    Be Love.

Spiritual Art ~ Freydoon Rassouli ~ In Spheres of Divine Light

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra3aeoohSEY

Freydoon Rassouli, born on November 18, 1943 in Iran, is a visionary artist who has a unique way of reflecting spiritual experience by expressing images from his subconscious onto canvas. He often stimulates creativity by meditating at dawn watching the sunrise in a natural setting, or by envisioning a mystical journey through a night sky. His style does not focus on what is literally seen by the artist, but by surrendering conceptually to what is felt on a deeper level.

Rassouli's painting technique is known as Fusionart, a style that he has created and registered and is presently teaching to many artists in Southern California. The main theme of Fusionart is cosmic unity. The painting style is derived from mysticism, near-eastern spirituality, and a foundation in European painting technology.

The conceptual approach of Fusionart has been developing in Rassouli since early childhood, and it is evident in his paintings, reliefs, architectural design, sculptures, book illuminations and murals. He was born in Isfahan, Iran and was raised in a historical home decorated with murals and intricate floral designs. Inspired and encouraged by his mystic uncle, Rassouli developed an early appreciation for painting and mystical poetry, and spent endless hours taking lessons from classical and impressionist artists, and studying mysticism. Soon he discovered new ways to transform his subconscious images into forms that he could share with others.

    This is quite fresh ;

    Slightly ahead, just one look
beyond the confines of my world
    and yours…

Gaze, see the air that you breathe…
Above the mists over the valley.

Standing high and brave, wind on your face
    feeling the feeling inside, within.
    Grace…

    Tells you much and more,
    All…in between all.

Over the cliff we jump and fall down…
Earth is closer and we`re alone…
    And then… comes peace.
A loud voice from no one and from all!

    Come alive, fly and be!
Hear and see the life from within!
From outside of shell that held you.
    Form darkness that stalled you.
From images and words you created in vane.
From hell upon souls from your own bane

    Nothing less and nothing more
But a sparkling way though the door
    And out into the light!

    Fly!
    Fly and worry no more!

    Love is blind
    for it makes itself blind
    to understand
    the blind man

    Love is naive
    for it makes itself naive
    to understand
    the naive man

    Love is strong
    for ti makes itself strong
    to understand
    the strong man

    Love is all
"why o why" -heard someone`s cry...
    for it can be everything
    to everyone...

    Because Love is Love.
    Always above.
    Always below.
    Never gone...

    Forevermore
    Forever now
    It is...
    Just Love...

    fresh!

         Who we are

When I look into your eyes my love, I see the universe.
I see movement of stars and galaxies dancing gently.
I see what can be when we are united in love, when we are free.

And then I turn away my gaze and sink into a dream.
I travel far and seek for thrill for my soul and heart.

    And worlds I see.

Phantoms appear but always they seek to smear,
to diminish to quench the original thought.
And then I hear within me as also without
a frequency of tone unheard before.

A sound and lore of mists and shores
of new lands beneath the stars…
Created long ago but revealed now
for pleasure of God and pleasure of all.

And readily I fly out there to explore and dwell
among the new things and rivers and trees.
    and colors new and unseen...

    …yet.

My heart is pumping a pulse of joy
while I glaze above the islands below.
    Ah…clarity of new beginning,
bringing fresh breeze of peace within.

A thought appeared that we will all follow
into world unknown that we created long ago.
and what was a long distant past,
became a moment that is now.

And here we are and here we go!
Into glorious realms renewed we walk.
Reminding ourselves of who we are- who we were ,
Only Love - light of God.

    Child of God

    A star was dying.
    Loud and far away
    she cried in vain...
    Alas! No one was there.

    Alone and restless
    facing the time
    she never felt before
    she closed her eyes.

    And she was no more.
    Her being collapsed
    and tears were gone
into a stardust - her soul.

    And then the peace...
    ...rays of cosmic love
    all around, below and above
a new day and hope for all.

A star became a new world,
    beaming with life
    ready for all
to take the playground - a new hope!

    And souls came,
    energies played
    heavenly tunes
    and colors fair.

    Sounds of joy
    all around
    and labour of Love
    are everywhere found…!

    A new era begun.
    Souls took the forms
    of which they dreamed of
    here and now.

    And a day came
    when one little soul sang
    about beauty in heaven,
    oh how it rang!

    She raised her hands
    up in the sky
    thanking Almighty
    for all that is fine.

And she sang an ode of joy
    straight from the heart
    when she felt
    an ominous spark.

    Silent and smiled
    she gazed above
and like in a dream she saw
    a stardust that flows.

    In the moment flash!
    Remembrance came old.
    Once she was a star
and now a child of Love.

    A star died long ago,
gave her body, her precious soul.
To be all in one and one in all
and reborn as child of God.

    beautiful your poems Beren!

I thought to share this with you.

Read these Couplets, You will love them. hope
Who was Kabir ? 14th century poet, not translated yet

    Now let's start the Couplets.

Chalti Chakki Dekh Kar, Diya Kabira Roye
Do Paatan Ke Beech Mein, Sabit Bacha Na Koye.

    Translation:-
Looking at the grinding stones, Kabir cries
inside the two stones, no one survives.

    Meaning:-
Kabir sees the grinding stones as the duality that we live in. Heaven and earth, Good and Bad, Male and Female, High status and Low status - all around is duality. This play of Chalti Chakki (moving mill) gets everyone; no one is saving from in its powerful grip.

    -----------

Whoever enters this duality is crushed. No one survives. Kabir cries because rarely, if ever, does one see the oneness, the divinity, behind the duality.

Boora jo dekhan main chala, boora na milya koye,
Jo mann khoja apnaa, Mujh se boora na koye

I searched for the Bad man, met not a single one
when I searched myself "I" found None is nastier than me.

    Meaning:-

This Doha is about observing ones own mind. Kabir says that he searched the world for the bad, the real evil person but he couldn't find the evil person anywhere. Then he looked within at his own thinking process, his own mind. The he found the real evil person who lived in his mind, unchecked.

    -----------

Kaal Kare So Aaj Kar, Aaj Kare So aub
Pal Mein Pralaya Hoyegi, Bahuri Karoge Kub

Tomorrow's work do today, today's work now
if the moment is lost, how will be the work be done

    Meaning
This Doha says that not to postpone the things for another day or another time. Do the work that needs to be done now. There is no other time then now.

    -----------

Aisee Vani Boliye, Mann Ka Aapa Khoye
Apna Tan Sheetal Kare, Auran Ko Sukh Hoye

    Translation
Speak such words, you lose the minds Ego
Body remains composed, others Find Peace

    Meaning
In speech use such words that your ego is eliminated. Don't drag, don’t think yourself out to be big, important, rich or anything else that the ego attaches to. Building the Ego takes energy from the body, takes away the bodies composure. If ego is lost in ones speech, the listener finds peace from listening to it. Soft and kind words are easy to speak but its echo is endless.

    -----------

Dheere Dheere Re Mana, Dheere Sub Kutch Hoye
Mali Seenche So Ghara, Ritu Aaye Phal Hoye

    Translation
Slowly slowly stay my mind, Slowly everything happens
Gardner may water garden a hundred times, When the Season comes, there is fruit

    Meaning
Kabir tells his mind to slow down, everything in life happens slowly, in its own time. The fruit only comes when the season comes, so will the fruit of life come in its own time.

    -----------

Sayeen Itna Deejiye, Ja Mein Kutumb Samaye
Main Bhi Bhookha Na Rahun, Sadhu Na Bhookha Jaye

    Translation

God, give me so, so much wealth, that my community is fed
I don't remain hungry, the Sadhu does not go hungry

    Meaning
Kabir asks God for wealth, abundance. He asks that his community is fed, he does not starve and the visiting Sadhu (holy man) does not go hungry. He does not ask for a mansion, a mercedes or millions in a swiss bank account!just he asked to remove the starve.

    -----------

Bada Hua To Kya Hua, Jaise Ped Khajoor
Panthi Ko Chaya Nahin, Phal Laage Atidoor

    Translation

If You are Big so what? Just like a date tree
No shade for travelers, fruit is hard to reach

    Meaning
Being big, important, powerful, wealthy is of no consequnce - Kabir likens this to a date tree that does not give shade to the traveller and its fruit is out reach. This doha means to say to help others in what ever way you can.

    -----------

Jaise Til Mein Tel Hai, Jyon Chakmak Mein Aag
Tera Sayeen Tujh Mein Hai, Tu Jaag Sake To Jaag

    Translation

Like the Oil is inside the Seed, Just as the Fire is Inside the Flint Stone
Your God is inside you, if you have the Power to Wake Up, then Wake Up.

    Meaning
God is within, like the oil in the seed - wake up if you have the power to.This doha tells us to realise ourselves.

    -----------

Mangan Maran Saman Hai, Mat Koi Mange Beekh
Mangan Se Marna Bhala, Yeh Satguru Ki Seekh

    Translation

Begging is like dying, Let no one Beg
It is better to die than beg, this is the SatGuru's Message

    Meaning
Don't beg - give that you may receive. Give time, give some service, give friendship, give love - but don't beg.

    -----------

Maya Mari Na Mun Mara, Mar Mar Gaye Shareer
Asha Trishna Na Mari, Keh Gaye Das Kabir

    Translation

Neither Maya Died, Nor the Mind Died, Die and die again People/Bodies
Hope and delusion have not died, so said Das Kabir and left

    Meaning

One of Kabir most meaningful Doha’s for me. Kabir observes the world from within, and sees the world as Maya - illusion. It is projected by Mun, the mind, the collective mind. Shareer refers to the living body or living person. Shareer's die and die again.
There is hope that this will end, that the Shareer will wake up and then Maya and Mun will die.

    -----------

Kabira Khara Bazaar Mein, Mange Sabki Khair
Na Kahu Se Dosti, Na Kahu Se Bair

    Translation

Kabira Stands in the market place, Asks for everyones prosperity
neither special friendship nor enmity for anyone. This doha mena to say to think prosper or welfare for all, not specially for friends or relatives.Think welfare for all with out any expectations.

    Meaning
In the market place, Kabor wishes goodwill to all.

    -----------

Kabir Man Nirmal Bhaya, Jaise Ganga Neer
Pache Pache Har Phire, Kahat Kabir Kabir

    Translation
Kabir Washed His Mind Clean, Like The Holy Ganges River
Everyone follows behind, Saying Kabir, Kabir.

    Meaning
Kabir cleaned his own mind - This doha means to say to be pure in mind and heart.nook and corner of the heart.

    -----------

Pothi Padh Padh Kar Jag Mua, Pandit Bhayo Na Koye
Dhai Aakhar Prem Ke, Jo Padhe so Pandit Hoye

    Translation
Reading Books and Scriptures everyone died, No one became Pandit
Two and Half Words of Love, Who ever reads, he becomes pandit.

    Meaning
Forget about book learning, no mater how many books you read, you won't become wise, you won't become the Pundit. A few words of love and love towards your fellow beings you'll become Pundit. Try it.

    -----------

Dukh Mein Simran Sab Kare, Sukh Mein Kare Na Koye
Jo Sukh Mein Simran Kare, Tau Dukh Kahe Ko Hoye

    Translation
While suffering everyone prays and Remembers Him, in joy no one does
If one prays and remembers Him in happiness, why would sorrow come?

    Meaning
The suffering you experience in the world is designed to wake you up. You wake up when you realize God. If you did that during your happy times, then you will not experience suffering. This means that every one should remember the god at all times, untill the last breath of the life.

    -----------

Gur Dhobi Sikh Kapda, Saboo Sirjan Har
Surti Sila Pur Dhoiye, Nikse Jyoti Apaar

    Translation
Guru is the wash man, Sikh is the cloth , God the soap
Wash the mind thoroughly clean, Out Comes The Glow of Truth

    Meaning
Life is process of cleansing - wash the Mind and be pure in your thoughts and deeds.

    -----------

Jeevat Samjhe Jeevat Bujhe, Jeevat He Karo Aas
Jeevat Karam Ki Fansi Na Kaati, Mue Mukti Ki Aas

    Translation
Alive one sees, alive one knows, find your liberation while alive
If Alive you do not cut the noose of your attachments , how will there be liberation with death?

    Meaning
You need to wake up while you are alive; it is your only chance. You need to drop the ties of attachments to illusory things that bind you in illusion. This can only be done while alive, death is not a liberator

    Fresh!!!

     Very Happy

I lost you and I found you

    Hearing the sounds when numb
of those that seduce you to remain numb.

Somewhere deep I know who we are
    somewhere I feel I - I am alive.
But in this skin it is a weight,
borrowed time of pleasure and pain.

    Yet I am alive.
Striving for good has its price
    which we all pay...

Mists of the world where we lay
    bare chests against darkness
heart on a palm at whim
because of who we are, we give.

    In Love...
    Joy and valor for light!
Craving to satisfy the need for it
dance of a being in sunshine...

I lost you and I found you.

I Said That I Would Sing

I first heard about this place,
    this little lump of clay
on a message board in space,
    about a billion stars away.

    The ad read:
‘Floating garden orb circling a sun.
Help us build a heaven here.
    We need one more volunteer’.
So I said that I would come.

I was asked when I applied
to name some service I could bring.
I think service should be joyous,
so I said that I would sing.

Well, I guess I got the job.
And I don’t mean to complain.
But it’s not like they described
    in that little classified
that I read before I came.

Had I somehow missed a turn?
Was this even the right place?
Had I fallen for a scam–
or was it more a fall from grace?

    Oh, it’s beautiful alright–
how I love the desert sky.
    And a quiet mountain lake
is enough to make me cry.
But I did not come prepared
    for the density or strife,
    for the cruel and inhumane
    injustices and pain
that can pass here for a life.

So from a very early age,
    I grew restless here because
of this longing to go home,
    though I could not say
    where home was.

Then in answer to my prayer
    or more truthfully my scream,
    my beloved self appeared,
come to wake me from this dream.

And with a diamond voice declared:
“Home is not some distant star,
    or some heavenly reward
that your days are marching toward
but the truth of who you are–

    An awareness so immense
it holds all of this inside…”
As she spoke my mind fell still
but my tears would not subside.

And from the arms of grace, I knew
    that all suffering would cease
if we could yield to this embrace,
if we just trusted in this peace.

To even try to find the words
    can be a sacrilegious thing:
So I’d just as soon be silent–

    ….but I said that I would sing.

From the new CD, Unseen Grace
