Pentagon Warns No Limits On Ukraine Support If North Korea Joins War

The United States is warning that it is ready to escalate NATO involvement in Ukraine if North Korean troops join Russia's war in Ukraine. The Zelensky government has long been lobbying for the US to provide long-range missiles and authorize their use against Russian territory. Kiev might soon gets its wish granted...

"The U.S. will not impose new limits on Ukraine's use of American weapons if North Korea joins Russia's war, the Pentagon said on Monday, as NATO said North Korean military units had been deployed to the Kursk region in Russia," Reuters reports.

Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh on Monday issued a fresh update on the situation. Speaking of a detachment of North Korean troops, she said: "A portion of those soldiers have already moved closer to Ukraine, and we are increasingly concerned that Russia intends to use these soldiers in combat or to support combat operations against Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk Oblast near the border with Ukraine."

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson warns that split-ticket voters using a Dominion ICX Voter Assist Terminal (VAT) on Election Day should be prepared for straight-ticket/split-ticket programming issues when marking their ballot.

A VAT is a special type of device that people with disabilities may use to assist with marking their ballot, which is then printed from the machine and put through the tabulator—but the machine has issues with properly processing certain types of ballots.

Benson stresses that this is a nationwide issue and is not only affecting Michigan

FAFO: A University of Michigan student who is from China and not a U.S. citizen allegedly voted Sunday in Ann Arbor and is being charged with two crimes, six days before a pivotal presidential election.

The filing of the charges was revealed Wednesday in a statement from Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's office and the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's office. The press release didn't identify the student but described him only as "a non-U.S. citizen."

The 19-year-old individual from China was legally present in the United States but not a citizen, which meant he couldn't legally cast a ballot, according to information from the Michigan Secretary of State's office. He registered to vote on Sunday using his UM student identification and other documentation establishing residency in Ann Arbor, he signed a document identifying himself as a U.S. citizen and his ballot was entered into a tabulator, according to the Secretary of State's office.

    Developing Election Scandal in Wisconsin

A federal lawsuit has been filed against the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for allegedly turning over confidential DMV data containing the "personal info of millions of Americans and non-citizens for targeted voter registration and outreach efforts."

@_CitizenAG filed the federal lawsuit after discovering Wisconsin's DOT gave the two nonprofits the confidential DMV data.

This is a major breach of voter trust.

As the litigants describe it, the lawsuit centers around David J. Becker and his two nonprofits, the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) & the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR).

The Complaint maintains that ERIC and the CEIR abused the data for an array of illegal political activities, all of which are prohibited under the DPPA (Driver's Privacy Protection Act).

The plaintiffs make the case that ERIC exists to bloat voter rolls, as demonstrated by statistics that show states that don't use ERIC have cleaner voter rolls.

The CEIR was implicated in the Zucker Bucks scandal and received $70,000,000 in the lead-up to the 2020 election.

The CEIR issued grants to states ahead of the 2020 election based in part on this DMV data, the litigants claim.

The lawsuit points out that the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) confirmed the state isn't an ERIC member just weeks ago.

On September 17, WEC's written discovery responses reveal "WEC has not entered into contracts with ANY third-party to maintain the database."

ERIC is also implicated in the recent Colorado election scandal, as well as issues reported by Secretaries of State across the country regarding difficulties cleaning up dirty voter rolls.

Colorado's Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher Beall, testified in a July 2024 court case that 30,000 non-citizens in Colorado were sent postcards because of ERIC.

"Our efforts to remove individuals who DMV had identified as noncitizens was ineffective because of data coding mismatches between ERIC's data and DMV data, resulting in 30,000 of 51,000 postcards."
