    The belt of the earth
    Gapes to the heavens
    Veor and Vega 25
    Men flee their homes
    Fjörgyn is in rearguard battle
    Retreating from the worm
With no fear or loss of honor

25 Veor and Vega – the eagles? - the great and the small eagle?
It seems that the historical events of the Völuspá coincided with catastrophes of cosmic dimensions.
What, if then Veor was the brightest star at the night sky? In South-America possibly known as the
"Great Condor"? The "Velikovsky plot" would be be Disney in comparsion to this.
And may it even be that the transformation and later explosion of this star changed the gravitation
for a while, so that huge rocks could be moved relatively easily?
The time frame seems wrong, and the Völuspá uses a "diachronic view", this is, it maybe spans a
    million of years...

What if I am right and at least the impacts of so 6000 ago (cf. Indian Ocean, maybe Greenland) were connected to a star once called Veor?

Hi everyone, been on a think tank for the last month and also re located to new homestead.

The think tank was with an Italian company that designs high end cook tops and pitched a design which i will share with you now. For those who are prepping this is a very effective renewable energy heater and cooker.

    Based on hydrogen tech.

I cannot show you my exact design but i can tell you of the concept.

What you need is the following

    A 12V hydrogen cell

Solar panel with battery & regulator

A gas cook burner with regulator and flash back arrestor

Make hydrogen by electrolysis of the electrolyte ( water and a pinch of salt ) and feed it into the gas burner array

and voila ! you have a 350deg c heater , put that under a thick iron plate and you have a cooker !

to get higher yield of hydrogen mount the h cell on a 30 deg off axis to reduce the meniscus' holding tension on the plate.

or learn to rub sticks together !

A rock of unknown speed and size hit the Maciço do Baturité region, in Ceará, at 6:42 am on Saturday, 10/10.

According to the technical director of the Brazilian Meteor Monitoring Network (Bramon), Marcelo Zurita, as the speed and size of the rock fragment is not yet known, it is not possible to say whether the fall is an asteroid or meteoroid ( when it is larger than a meter it is called an asteroid, when it is smaller it is a meteoroid).

The expert said it was a very luminous phenomenon and caused a big explosion.

“The explosion was so intense that it was seen during the day. Phenomena like this, with this degree of luminosity, are not frequent ”, explained Zurita.

The military police in Baturité reported that so far there is no information on the wounded and that the region where the fragment fell is sparsely populated.

The Super-Earth that Came Home for Dinner

It might be lingering bashfully on the icy outer edges of our solar system, hiding in the dark, but subtly pulling strings behind the scenes: stretching out the orbits of distant bodies, perhaps even tilting the entire solar system to one side.

If a planet is there, it's extremely distant and will stay that way (with no chance -- in case you're wondering -- of ever colliding with Earth, or bringing "days of darkness").It is a possible "Planet Nine" -- a world perhaps 10 times the mass of Earth and 20 times farther from the sun than Neptune. The signs so far are indirect, mainly its gravitational footprints, but that adds up to a compelling case nonetheless.

One of its most dedicated trackers, in fact, says it is now harder to imagine our solar system without a Planet Nine than with one.

"There are now five different lines of observational evidence pointing to the existence of Planet Nine," said Konstantin Batygin, a planetary astrophysicist at Caltech in Pasadena, California, whose team may be closing in. "If you were to remove this explanation and imagine Planet Nine does not exist, then you generate more problems than you solve. All of a sudden, you have five different puzzles, and you must come up with five different theories to explain them."

Batygin and his co-author, Caltech astronomer Mike Brown, described the first three breadcrumbs on Planet Nine's trail in a January 2016 paper, published in the Astronomical Journal. Six known objects in the distant Kuiper Belt, a region of icy bodies stretching from Neptune outward toward interstellar space, all have elliptical orbits pointing in the same direction. That would be unlikely -- and suspicious -- enough. But these orbits also are tilted the same way, about 30 degrees "downward" compared to the pancake-like plane within which the planets orbit the sun.

Breadcrumb number three: Computer simulations of the solar system with Planet Nine included show there should be more objects tilted with respect to the solar plane. In fact, the tilt would be on the order of 90 degrees, as if the plane of the solar system and these objects formed an "X" when viewed edge-on. Sure enough, Brown realized that five such objects already known to astronomers fill the bill.

Two more clues emerged after the original paper. A second article from the team, this time led by Batygin's graduate student, Elizabeth Bailey, showed that Planet Nine could have tilted the planets of our solar system during the last 4.5 billion years. This could explain a longstanding mystery: Why is the plane in which the planets orbit tilted about 6 degrees compared to the sun's equator?

"Over long periods of time, Planet Nine will make the entire solar-system plane precess or wobble, just like a top on a table," Batygin said.

The last telltale sign of Planet Nine's presence involves the solar system's contrarians: objects from the Kuiper Belt that orbit in the opposite direction from everything else in the solar system. Planet Nine's orbital influence would explain why these bodies from the distant Kuiper Belt end up "polluting" the inner Kuiper Belt.

"No other model can explain the weirdness of these high-inclination orbits," Batygin said. "It turns out that Planet Nine provides a natural avenue for their generation. These things have been twisted out of the solar system plane with help from Planet Nine and then scattered inward by Neptune."

The remaining step is to find Planet Nine itself. Batygin and Brown are using the Subaru Telescope at Mauna Kea Observatory in Hawaii to try to do just that. The instrument is the "best tool" for picking out dim, extremely distant objects lost in huge swaths of sky, Batygin said.

But where did Planet Nine come from? Batygin says he spends little time ruminating on its origin -- whether it is a fugitive from our own solar system or, just maybe, a wandering rogue planet captured by the sun's gravity.

"I think Planet Nine's detection will tell us something about its origin," he said.

Other scientists offer a different possible explanation for the Planet Nine evidence cited by Batygin. A recent analysis based on a sky mapping project called the Outer Solar System Origins Survey, which discovered more than 800 new "trans-Neptunian objects," suggests that the evidence also could be consistent with a random distribution of such objects. Still, the analysis, from a team led by Cory Shankman of the University of Victoria, could not rule out Planet Nine.

If Planet Nine is found, it will be a homecoming of sorts, or at least a family reunion. Over the past 20 years, surveys of planets around other stars in our galaxy have found the most common types to be "super Earths" and their somewhat larger cousins -- bigger than Earth but smaller than Neptune.

Yet these common, garden-variety planets are conspicuously absent from our solar system. Weighing in at roughly 10 times Earth's mass, the proposed Planet Nine would make a good fit.

Planet Nine could turn out to be our missing super Earth.

NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON - COVID, Trump, Economy, Racism, Add This To 2020
ASTEROID COULD HIT U.S. DAY BEFORE ELECTION!!! - 10/18/2020

Neil deGrasse Tyson is warning earthlings, an asteroid may be heading for our planet before election day, but it's probably not going to kill us ... but maybe something else will.

The famed astrophysicist posted a photo of the giant rock hurtling toward Earth, with the caption, "asteroid 2018VP1, a refrigerator-sized space-rock, is hurtling towards us at more than 25,000 mi/hr."

He goes on to say it could have a brush with Earth at an ominous time ... "It may buzz-cut Earth on Nov. 2, the day before the Presidential Election. But it’s not big enough to cause harm. So if the World ends in 2020, it won’t be the fault of the Universe."

Neil, who hosts the new Fox show, “Cosmos: Possible Worlds," didn't say what else could end the world as we know it, but we have ideas.

As for the asteroid ... NASA has confirmed it's on a trajectory to possibly hit the U.S. on Nov. 2. It's 6.5 feet in diameter and there's only a 1% chance it will hit somewhere in the country, but still ... it's 2020.

The space agency is saying there are 3 possible points of impact, but they weren't specific.  Great.

Asteroid "The Size Of London's Big Ben" Will Whiz Past Earth Minutes After Tonight's Presidential Debate
    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/asteroid-size-londons-big-ben-will-whiz-past-earth-minutes-after-thursdays-presidential

In what is perhaps yet another signal of end times upon us, an asteroid that is the "size of London's Big Ben clock tower" is going to fly past the Earth tonight, moments after the end of the next Presidential debate.

It'll pass the Earth safely on Thursday at 10:49PM EST, Fox News reports.

The asteroid is called 2020 TGI and is traveling at an estimated 30,700 miles per hour. It's going to miss the Earth by about 7 million miles.

It had recently come close to the Earth on April 20, 2013 and won't make its way back around again until Feburary 6, 2024. It is estimated that the asteroid is between 154 and 360 feet wide. "Potentially hazardous" near Earth objects are defined as those who come within 0.05 astronomical and measure over 460 feet in diameter.

There's currently more than 18,000 of these near Earth objects.

One asteroid "the size of a pickup truck" passed the Earth by just 2,000 miles in August. It was the closest call ever recorded and NASA didn't notice the object until after it had passed the Earth. In 2018, the agency put together a plan for the Earth to better prepare itself against near Earth objects.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said in 2019 that an asteroid strike was the possibly the planet's biggest threat. The topic of asteroids and other existential threats, including volcanos, pandemics and earthquakes, was also discussed last week on a podcast with University of South Florida professor Dr. Marc J. Defant.

But with the way the year has been going, we're sure there's plenty of people out there with their fingers crossed that the asteroid will change paths and finally put an end to it all...
