Someone in the comments mentioned the situation in UK:

It's the same here in the UK.
I was questioning why not one family member is allowed into hospital to check on a family members welfare.
I was told no one gets in in case they spread the Virus.
When I stated that at least one member could go dressed in protective gear like any nurse does coming in from outside to do a shift it was still refused.
No one knows what is going on in there...that's 6 weeks now !!
My constant questioning authorities is being blasted because I'm told it's the Law !!
I could not get anyone in Government to answer my calls as I was told to either e-mail or send a letter ????
I also queried the data on deaths but it didn't show who died from Covid-19 as the main cause.
No one could tell me if any healthy person succumbed to DIE of this virus. No data taken after 6 weeks which is abhorrent.
Something Feels Wrong and my concerns are being ridiculed or ignored. I'll keep chipping away as I'm not giving up.

I so much understand you Micjer.
From one moment to another when the borders closed the world was changed.
Its like a berlin wall being erected on a global scale and for some like me it sadly means families ripped apart.
I had the strong feeling very early on in january that Covid19 would be a game changer.
Things just confirm my impression by the day.
These are crucial times we are living.
There is still hope left to change the turn of events.
Lets stay strong.

Spearheaded by the DOD’s Joint Acquisition Task Force (JATF), in coordination with the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, the contract will support “Jumpstart” to create a U.S.-based, high-speed supply chain for prefilled syringes beginning later this year by using well-established Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) aseptic plastics manufacturing technology, suitable for combatting COVID-19 when a safe and proven vaccine becomes available.

By immediately upgrading a sufficient number of existing domestic BFS facilities with installations of filling-line and technical improvements, “Jumpstart” will enable the manufacture of more than 100 million prefilled syringes for distribution across the United States by year-end 2020
