This is great. Thank you so much for posting it. Here is the link for those who would like to learn more.

Windowfarms are suspended, hydroponic, modular, low-energy, high-yield
edible food gardens built using low-impact or recycled local materials.

Many plants may be grown in pots of soil indoors.

Start again plants: cut off stem (where the roots were before trimming for sale at market) of cabbage, celery, leek, etc., place in saucer of water until it roots, changing water every few days. Place it in pot of soil, roots buried, top showing in a sunny location.Water as soil dries. Usually these will grow and give you another cabbage, etc. off the one you've just eaten.

Cuttings of mint will root in water in just a few days. Plant in a pot of soil.

Self-sustainable living.. when there may be no grid with one good CME/EMP. Yet everyone can grow there own food, at least sprouts. And one can even grow hanging gardens in apartment windows. Inside, one can have containers filled with herbs, lettuce, scallians, spinach, even potatoes and other veggies that don't need bees. Bottom line - clean water and food is more valuable then money.
