I do not think this piece made it to the final cut for "Religulous". However, it illustrates how difficult it is to explain things to people, and Maher is clear he has little patience for Icke's beliefs.

Neither do I, - cricket & soccer are my games, 'cos I played them - but it's great entertainment when both teams match.

The BBC began broadcasting the SuperBowl somewhere around the start of this century, but I've only just managed to understand the rules & tactics enough to be a 'coach in my own right', so I'm not gonna miss the opportunity to challenge that 'knowledge'.

And I must admit I've seen a couple of really exciting, tight matches, that had me on the edge of my seat.

But the minute the game's over, I switch off the tv & forget all about it...

Hey, anything I can do to bring a smile to the face of another is great with me. I will do what I can.

You can "like" some of these pages on FB, and receive clips, as they are sent.

Also, if you go to Comedy Central, you can view some of their programming, in its entirety, and with a minimum of commercials. Hulu is also a good site. HBO keeps a pretty tight grip on the content of Real Time, and I was delighted that the NFL clip was available.

    "Aw shucks folks, I'm speechless"...

I will see what I can find that does not get deleted.

I just read Carol's thread and contact with ETs and the possibility of transportation.

And wondering if being born near a volcano is a message of some sort.

Also wondering if ELF/VLF freuqnecies can aggravate kidney stones.

While I am looking for silly stuff...

If I am to be transported, 1). Should I request my medical records? 2). Can I be healed of kidney stones? (service to others is difficult when in pain). 3). What is the inter-galactic message for kidney stones, in the event that I need a med-alert bracelet or something? 4). Is marijuana legal on said planet?

Sorry to hear about your present physical condition HigherLove.

The best remedy I know from experience regarding illness or any other unbalance in our bodies is fasting.
Dr Shelton the founder of Hygienism made extensive research on this .

    FLASHBACK: The Stay-Go Handbook

Bill Maher appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews yesterday and they discussed, among other things, some of the recent shenanigans involving politicians and their tendency to…over-tip the maid.

During the interview, Bill referred to an editorial that we did here on ‘Real Time’ a couple of months ago and this seemed like as good a time as any to bring it back:

Maher: IMF Rape Scandal a Good Lesson for ‘Teabaggers’ on the Merits of Socialism

By Jeff Poor, The Daily Caller

That definition of socialism provided by Merriam-Webster's dictionary seems relatively simple and anyone with a fifth grade knowledge of American history can recognize it's not a traditional American political philosophy.

But according to HBO's Bill Maher, it's a philosophy Americans could learn to embrace - that is with the help of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the embattled former head of the International Monetary Fund who was recently indicted by a grand jury on charges of criminal sexual assault, attempted rape and sexual abuse. On his Friday night show on HBO, Maher explained that though what Strauss-Kahn did reason was upsetting, it could also be instructive.

    Hi Drink Wine

The 'Weinerlog' bit kills me. And, may I add.. that the Brilliant Dame Jane Lynch never broke character the entire time? .

My cynical POV is that people drawn to being a politician also have a certain personality.....disorder.
